That’s why CRL Quartz Sahara was the surface of choice for this busy family kitchen, where the large, open-plan space takes on a multi-functional role within the home. With the homeowners keen to include an island complete with breakfast bar within the room’s design as the perfect spot for food prep, home working, dining and socialising, designers Coton Interiors recommended a trip to Intamarble in Staffordshire. Here the family could see first-hand the array of CRL Quartz surfaces available, selecting Sahara as the perfect fit for their décor plans. Sahara has an earthy base colour, complemented with a subtle grey veining, along with lighter grey and white flecks giving it a sense of character and warmth. The neutral colourway makes it ideal for combining with darker and bolder colours elsewhere to create a contemporary two-tone effect. Chosen for the worktops and wall cladding, Sahara matches the kitchen’s colour palette perfectly. Delivered in one piece, the cladding is seam-free with no need for grout lines even over large areas. In the finished open-plan kitchen and dining area, guests are greeted by a bar area complete with wine cooler perfect for entertaining at home. A glass display unit and full wall cladding with CRL Quartz sits between the cupboards, while on the left-hand side a large bank of units solves the family’s storage dilemmas and creates a streamlined impression. Turn the corner to find the island unit, measuring an impressive 2.4m long. Complete with seating area and a modern sbox plug and charging port, this is a multi-functional surface intended for use for cooking, dining, working and relaxing As a stain, heat and scratch resistant surface CRL Quartz is highly durable and simple to care for, with none of the maintenance issues often associated with natural materials and concrete, but with all the aesthetic appeal. With no requirement for sealing and just a wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent all that is needed to keep the surface looking its best, Sahara is perfectly suited for the busiest of areas. Fitting the lifestyle of a thoroughly modern family to perfection, this space at the heart of the home is now the ideal space for hosting.

Our goal with this project was to combine a cramped kitchen and small dining room into an airy, open kitchen which serves many functions for this busy couple with young children. A central island provides plenty of space for food prep, school projects as well as everyday family dinners. We rearranged the large front room to create both an intimate conversation area and a more formal dining area. As the main floor lacked a powder room and closet for coats and boots, we annexed an unused portion of the house's airshaft to create both. The addition also features a skylight which along with the enlarged rear window, floods the new kitchen with sunshine. The richly cool palette of grays and white offers a soothing backdrop in what has become the hub of this family's colorful life...

The Kitchen is the highlight of the large living space. It allows a variety of cooking, entertainment, dining, and leisure wit an indoor-outdoor orientation in one space. The long counter below large windows, large drawers finished with glossy white laminate doors (SIRIUS line in Frosty White) and a color matching ‘handle-less’ c-channel provides clean lines and good ergonomics. The large pullout drawers can carry up to 155 pounds, has internal drawers, and have internal LED lighting and a set of wood inserts accessories by LEICHT. The open pantry provides additional storage with uppers unit with dramatic smokey tinted glass uppers with internal LED lights, for a bar and glass storage. The tall 10’ high wall of storage in carbon gray super matte lacquer (BONDI line) provides a strong contrast to the white glossy lower units, ample household, and pantry storage, as well as hosting the fridge and oven appliances. Unique patterned corner open shelved unit on the left profile for presentation space and add lightne3ss tot he massive floor-to-ceiling volume. Counters are durable Dekton materials. The photos also feature a red Tagine pot from EMILE HENRY and copper pots by MAUVIEL.

With its clean lines, contemporary design, and vibrant blue accents, this kitchen is the perfect blend of modern style and warm, family-friendly appeal. Whether you're cooking up a feast or simply enjoying coffee with friends, stepping into this kitchen makes you feel happy and energised. The client, located in Hammersmith, was looking for a dynamic combination of colours rather than a single monochromatic scheme. They were also very focused on functionality. With the skylight and glass doors bathing the room in natural light, there's no shortage of brightness here either. The bright blue glass splashback and blue bar stools add a pop of colour and interest. With its large breakfast bar that comfortably seats up to six people, plenty of storage options, and generous worktop space, this kitchen is perfect for cooking enthusiasts. The base units are in matte Crystal, while the tall units are in matt Agate Grey, both of which are from Pronorm's Y-Line range. The tall, dark cabinets and the Silestone Merope worktops in a gorgeous suede finish create a striking contrast with the lightness of the rest of the space. The island provides plenty of space for prep work and cooking and ample storage for food and utensils. Top-of-the-line appliances from Siemens are seamlessly integrated into the kitchen design, along with a ceiling extractor from Air Uno, a tap from Quooker, and a sink from The 1810 Company.

Huge re-model including taking ceiling from a flat ceiling to a complete transformation. Bamboo custom cabinetry was given a grey stain, mixed with walnut strip on the bar and the island given a different stain. Huge amounts of storage from deep pan corner drawers, roll out trash, coffee station, built in refrigerator, wine and alcohol storage, appliance garage, pantry and appliance storage, the amounts go on and on. Floating shelves with a back that just grabs the eye takes this kitchen to another level. The clients are thrilled with this huge difference from their original space.

For this dry fit project in Biddenham, Bedfordshire, our customer wanted to have a kitchen island that could incorporate a show stopping seating area and they were not dissapointed. We created a curved seating area on site, upholstered by upholstery by Tilly, with detachable. The customer chose our modern Aconbury style kitchen painted in a matt finish of silver grey on the island area and mid grey on the rest of the kitchens. They chose oak effect laminate for the kitchen runs, to bring warmth into the space and added a section of glazed wall cabinets with cabinet lighting to offer some mood lighting in the evenings. This was part of a larger extension, providing an open plan kitchen, diner and lounge with large bifold doors onto an amazing decking area.

A significant transformation to the layout allowed this room to evolve into a multi function space. With precise allocation of appliances, generous proportions to the island bench; which extends around to create a comfortable dining space and clean lines, this open plan kitchen and living area will be the envy of all entertainers!
