Flat panel wood cabinet doors and gray painted drawers share a caesarstone countertop and stainless steel backsplash with an orbital sanded finish, for easier maintenance. Open c-shaped shelves provide space for storage, while keeping the open feel of the new design.

70年という月日を守り続けてきた農家住宅のリノベーション 建築当時の強靭な軸組みを活かし、新しい世代の住まい手の想いのこもったリノベーションとなった 夏は熱がこもり、冬は冷たい隙間風が入る環境から 開口部の改修、断熱工事や気密をはかり 夏は風が通り涼しく、冬は暖炉が燈り暖かい室内環境にした 空間動線は従来人寄せのための二間と奥の間を一体として家族の団欒と仲間と過ごせる動線とした 北側の薄暗く奥まったダイニングキッチンが明るく開放的な造りとなった

The owner's of this Mid-Century Modern home in north Seattle were interested in developing a master plan for remodeling the kitchen, family room, master closet, and deck as well as the downstairs basement for a library, den, and office space. Once they had a good idea of the overall plan, they set about to take on the priority project, the kitchen, family room and deck. Shown are the master plan images for the entire house and the finished photos of the work that was completed.

The prep sink is a under-mount trough sink in stainless by Kohler The prep sink faucet is a Hirise bar faucet by Kohler in brushed stainless. The pot filler next to the range is a Hirise deck mount by Kohler in brushed stainless. The cabinet hardware are all Bowman knobs and pulls by Rejuvenation. The floor tile is Pebble Beach and Halila in a Versailles pattern by Carmel Stone Imports. The kitchen sink is a Austin single bowl farmer sink in smooth copper with an antique finish by Barclay. The cabinets are walnut flat-panel done by palmer woodworks. The kitchen faucet is a Chesterfield bridge faucet with a side spray in english bronze.
