This is one of our favorite kitchen projects! We started by deleting two walls and a closet, followed by framing in the new eight foot window and walk-in pantry. We stretched the existing kitchen across the entire room, and built a huge nine foot island with a gas range and custom hood. New cabinets, appliances, elm flooring, custom woodwork, all finished off with a beautiful rustic white brick.

Reubicamos la cocina en el espacio principal del piso, abriéndola a la zona de salón comedor. Aprovechamos su bonita altura para ganar mucho almacenaje superior y enmarcar el conjunto. El comedor lo descentramos para ganar espacio diáfano en la sala y fabricamos un banco plegable para ganar asientos sin ocupar con las sillas. Nos viste la zona de comedor la lámpara restaurada a juego con el tono verde del piso. La cocina es fabricada a KM0. Apostamos por un mostrador porcelánico compuesto de 50% del material reciclado y 100% reciclable al final de su uso. Libre de tóxicos y creado con el mínimo espesor para reducir el impacto material y económico. Los electrodomésticos son de máxima eficiencia energética y están integrados en el interior del mobiliario para minimizar el impacto visual en la sala.

The existing corner of the living room was opened up to make the kitchen a part of the living space and to provide a eat in counter space. Note that the counters are 34" high for accessibility. The flooring featured in this home are a rich luxury vinyl that has the appearance of hardwood floors but the cost savings is substantial over hardwood.

contemporary design, IKEA cabinets, LVT grouted flooring, and eco-glass countertop with fused glass island glass bar top is the scope for this remodel. This beautiful remodel combine a clients lifestyle of entertaining and brought in some sophistication to the existing space. This kitchen was very dated with the natural cherry cabinetry and dark countertops shown in the before photos. Relocating the sink and range created a more ergonomic flow in the kitchen and opened up the space to allow an airy feeling that was not so claustrophobic. We included a bar area in the adjacent room to incorporate a pantry and 2 beverage under counter refrigerators for the young professionals to store their wine and beverages for the nights they entertain family and friends. The Celadon green base cabinetry was a nice contrast to the white cabinetry and the stained oak floating shelves were a complement to the custom table that was in the dining room. The remodeled kitchen functions well for the couple to collaborate on meals together.
