We love this space! The client wanted to open up two rooms into one by taking out the dividing wall. This really opened up the space and created a real social space for the whole family. The are lots f nice features within this design, the L shape island works perfectly in the space. The patterned floor and exposed brick work really give this design character. We found this beautiful door at a local architectural salvage shop, and switched the entrance to the basement from the left (where the island is) to this wall to show off the beautiful door and allow us to build a kitchen island.

This kitchen pays homage to a British Colonial style of architecture combining formal design elements of the Victorian era with fresh tropical details inspired by the West Indies such as pineapples and exotic textiles. Every detail was meticulously planned, from the coffered ceilings to the custom made ‘cross’ overhead doors which are glazed and backlit. The classic blue joinery is in line with the Pantone Color Institute, Color of the Year for 2020 and brings a sense of tranquillity and calm to the space. The White Fantasy marble bench tops add an air of elegance and grace with the lambs tongue edge detail and timeless grey on white tones. Complete with a butler’s pantry featuring full height glass doors, this kitchen is truly luxurious.

This beautiful hand painted railing kitchen was designed by wood works Brighton. The idea was for the kitchen to blend seamlessly into the grand room. The kitchen island is on castor wheels so it can be moved for dancing. This is a luxurious kitchen for a great family to enjoy.

New Moroccan Villa on the Santa Barbara Riviera, overlooking the Pacific ocean and the city. In this terra cotta and deep blue home, we used natural stone mosaics and glass mosaics, along with custom carved stone columns. Every room is colorful with deep, rich colors. In the master bath we used blue stone mosaics on the groin vaulted ceiling of the shower. All the lighting was designed and made in Marrakesh, as were many furniture pieces. The entry black and white columns are also imported from Morocco. We also designed the carved doors and had them made in Marrakesh. Cabinetry doors we designed were carved in Canada. The carved plaster molding were made especially for us, and all was shipped in a large container (just before covid-19 hit the shipping world!) This kitchen was designed with European French influences in a color palette of French blue, white, black and gold. The custom cabinetry was a labor of love with a hand carved quilted diamond pattern (the carving details of our cabinets are never machine made!) and lovely swirl stiles on the glass front cabinets. The marble throughtout is Carrara, the range hood in cast stone and the three fancy light pendants were custom made to order.

A kitchen renovation creating an improved layout, better lighting and increasing storage by more than double in Jersey CI. This kitchen has a listed ceiling which impacted the lighting options and previously had very poor storage solutions. The pink wall colour makes the room feel bigger and less gloomy than the previous white.

The homeowners of this wanted to create an informal year-round residence for their active family that reflected their love of the outdoors and time spent in ski and camping lodges. The result is a luxurious, yet understated, comfortable kitchen/dining area that exudes a feeling of warmth and relaxation. The open floor plan offers views throughout the first floor, while large picture windows integrate the outdoors and fill the space with light. A door to the three-season room offers easy access to an outdoor kitchen and living area. The dark wood floors, cabinets with natural wood grain, leathered stone counters, and coffered ceilings offer the ambiance of a 19th century mountain lodge, yet this is combined with painted wainscoting and woodwork to brighten and modernize the space. A blue center island in the kitchen adds a fun splash of color, while a gas fireplace and lit upper cabinets adds a cozy feeling. A separate butler’s pantry contains additional refrigeration, storage, and a wine cooler. Challenges included integrating the perimeter cabinetry into the crown moldings and coffered ceilings, so the lines of millwork are aligned through multiple living spaces. In particular, there is a structural steel column on the corner of the raised island around which oak millwork was wrapped to match the living room columns. Another challenge was concealing second floor plumbing in the beams of the coffered ceiling.
