We remodeled this spacious kitchen to make it more functional by adding accessories inside every one of the Showplace cabinets. The clients wanted to make a statement with the Atlas granite that they selected so we incorporated in not only for the countertops in the kitchen and butler's kitchen but also for the backsplash and nook table top.

This kitchen was created for two very keen home cooks who live on a beautiful acreage property in Main Ridge, on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. The original kitchen in this space was a u-shape layout and had limited preparation space for the homeowners. In this new kitchen design the layout was completely re-thought and two island benches were created. As part of this redesign, what used to be a walk-in-pantry was opened up to create an appliance nook and extra drawer storage. This kitchen easily accommodates two cooks at the same time and the homeowners are now able to face the dining area and interact with their guests while cooking.

This Queenstown home features Trends Kitchens joinery throughout, including all storage, robes, a bar and a coffee station. The kitchen boasts a spectacular stone benchtop, with battened American Oak to the underside of the curved island. The negative details feature a brass laminate detail to tie in the marble in the stone, alongside the stunning Archant Berkley handles.

This beautiful kitchen was brought to life by simply rearranging and modifying a few cabinets and having them painted in Sherwin Williams Iron Ore. The desk area is now a microwave drawer and where the microwave used to be above the stove is now an awesome hood! New quartz countertops, herringbone patterned tile and hardware were additional upgrades to the space to give it an entirely different look!

DIY Kitchen Splash project is fun and interesting. Client wanted to update their galley-style kitchen and chose to update with new countertops and backsplash. Furthermore, the choice of new granite with greys, blacks, and hints of green tones exquisitely marbled throughout the countertop is stunning. In addition, the client needed backsplash to enhance the colors in their granite. Working with a French Creek Kitchen Designer they found the right sample. Similarly, this glass and stone mix pulled together the tones from the granite and beautifully enhances their oak cabinets. A unique take on a modern Floridian style kitchen with a punch of color. The handmade green glass tiles by Trend Group were the driving force in this remodel. We were required to keep the sink and dishwasher in their original location. But we moved the stove from the left of the refrigerator, to the newly expanded island creating an oversized workspace. The clients love to socialize and by moving the stove, allowed for conversations to not be strained when someone is cooking. Our clients originally only fit 2 bar stools at the island. But once we doubled it in size, we were able to fit 4 bar stools and centralize the conversation area in this open concept design. The Cambria Annicca countertop is the piece de resistance adding a lot of flare o the space with its purple and gold detailing, complimenting the green backsplash. ARS fabricators hit a home run with the outstanding job they did on the gorgeous waterfall sides. Besides the kitchen, we also replaced all of the flooring throughout the home.

Reclaimed Mahogany cabinets vary in color with subtle rustic details. Golden bronze hardware accents the warm wood tones. Thick chiseled edge countertops with a leathered surface contribute another layer of depth and texture.

Our client's galley kitchen lacked practical storage with an outdated layout that didn’t flow. They approached Matter to maximise the available storage with a more cohesive layout to suit their evolving needs in the years ahead. They allowed near free reign over design and materials, with one simple request that each are equally contemporary and functional. Our design solution combines hard-wearing Blackbutt plywood and grey Forescolor MDF for the door and drawer fronts with laminate-face plywood carcasses. As the MDF has a full colour core, we added a new handle design that cut into the face on a taper, enabling a larger finger-pull and play of light on the surface. Solid Blackbutt handles and vertical partitions are a contemporary take on traditional frame and panel doors. For a touch of indulgence, we added beautifully dramatic Faustina quartzite bench tops and splashbacks from Artedomus. All lower cupboards were replaced with drawers featuring adjustable partitions and a large pull-out Kesseböhmer pantry to ensure food is easily accessed. The oven and microwave were moved next to the stove area and raised for better accessibility. A bench top appliance nook hides away the kettle and toaster behind a custom-made Blackbutt tambour door. We also replaced a section of overhead cupboards with slatted shelving and a mirrored backing that reflects natural light to open up the tight space. Lastly, we added a pull-up bench at the end of the galley to allow our client all the surface area they need to continue to cook meals with complete ease.
