This fun kitchen is a perfect fit for its’ owners! As a returning client we knew this space would be a pleasure to complete, having previously updated their main bath. The variegated blue picket tiles add bold colour the homeowners craved, while the slab doors in a natural maple with matte black finishes and soft white quartz countertops offer a warm modern backdrop. Filled with personality, this vibrant new kitchen inspires their love of cooking. The small footprint required creative planning to make the most efficient use of space while still including an open shelf section to allow for display and an open feel. The addition of a second sink was a game changer, allowing both sides of the room to function optimally. This kitchen was the perfect finishing touch for their home!

Midcentury modern kitchen remodel fitted with IKEA cabinet boxes customized with white oak cabinet doors and drawers. Custom ceiling mounted hanging shelves offer an attractive alternative to traditional upper cabinets, and keep the space feeling open and airy. Green porcelain subway tiles create a beautiful watercolor effect and a stunning backdrop for this kitchen.

SKP Design has completed a frame up renovation of a 1956 Spartan Imperial Mansion. We combined historic elements, modern elements and industrial touches to reimagine this vintage camper which is now the showroom for our new line of business called Ready To Roll. http://www.skpdesign.com/spartan-imperial-mansion You'll see a spectrum of materials, from high end Lumicor translucent door panels to curtains from Walmart. We invested in commercial LVT wood plank flooring which needs to perform and last 20+ years but saved on decor items that we might want to change in a few years. Other materials include a corrugated galvanized ceiling, stained wall paneling, and a contemporary spacious IKEA kitchen. Vintage finds include an orange chenille bedspread from the Netherlands, an antique typewriter cart from Katydid's in South Haven, a 1950's Westinghouse refrigerator and the original Spartan serial number tag displayed on the wall inside. This tongue-twisting new installation is a recent design by Aron from our Worthing showroom and has been recently installed in the Partridge Green area. This kitchen uses German Nobilia furniture from the Stone Art and Touch ranges, with the stone-grey slate shade used from the Stone Art range and the slate grey supermatt shade used from the touch range. This kitchen interestingly uses two doors with contrasting textures, with the Stone Art door utilising a more rugged textured door and the Touch door being a silky ultra-matt finished door. This kitchen uses the modern option of handleless doors with a stainless-steel handrail used to allow seamless access to units. Again, in this kitchen a tambour unit features, with smoked black translucent screening and transparent glass shelving. A popular feature of the tambour units is to have an integrated plug socket, this allows smaller appliances like a toaster, kettle or radio to be stored in them without using exposed worktop space. Aron has also ‘framed’ this customers existing American fridge freezer with the Stone Art furniture to make a feature of the appliance.

This dynamic kitchen design is one-of-a-kind with a blue laminate Wilsonart countertop and Clayhaus Ceramics 3-dimensional backsplash as the centerpiece. This is beautifully offset by contemporary, dark wood, slab panel Koch kitchen cabinets, a brick wall that brings a mid-century vibe to the design. The layout includes seating at the island and the kitchen table, as well as a laundry alcove separated by a brick dividing wall from the main kitchen.

We had a tight timeline to turn a dark, outdated kitchen into a modern, family-friendly space that could function as the hub of the home. We enlarged the footprint of the kitchen by changing the orientation and adding an island for better circulation. We swapped out old tile flooring for durable luxury vinyl tiles, dark wood panels for fresh drywall, outdated cabinets with modern Semihandmade ones, and added brand new appliances. We made it modern and warm by adding matte tiles from Heath, new light fixtures, and an open shelf of beautiful ceramics in cool neutrals.
