We used an open floor plan for the kitchen and dining, with both being part of the great room together with the living room. For this contemporary gray kitchen and dining, we used flush cabinet surfaces to achieve a minimalist and modern look. The backsplash is made with beautiful 3” x 16” light gray tiles that perfectly unite the white wall cabinets and the darker gray base cabinets. This monochromatic color scheme is also evident on the white dining table and countertops, and the gray and white chairs. We opted for an extra large kitchen island that provides an additional surface for food preparation and having quick meals. The modern island pendant lights serve as the functional centerpiece of the kitchen and dining area.

Walnut, marble, brushed nickel and glass were all used to offset simple ivory lacquer cabinetry in the open concept living room. A massive slab of Taj Mahal Quartzite dictated the size of the kitchen island which we kept free of major utilities so that the room would bleed seamlessly into the adjacent living room. The base of the island is natural American walnut. The perimeter of the kitchen houses an industrial range and massive steel hood; which is juxtaposed on a backsplash of mosaic tile. The mosaic is delicate lattice work pattern gently nodding towards the traditional. To add additional depth and dimension to the space we made all the upper cabinetry open glass. The interiors of the glass cabinetry are in the same natural walnut as the island. This unexpected detail is the perfect backdrop to white dishes and crystal stemware. Ultimately the room is elegant and serene.

Our customer desired to upgrade their builder grade cabinetry with beautiful cherry cabinets and they wanted a portable island that could easily be moved to create more space. The cabinetry installed is Medallion Cherry Mission Door, Pecan/Flat Panel in Cherry with Amaretto Stain and Ebony Glaze/Highlight. The countertop is Wilsonart Quartz in Santiago color. The backsplash is Basket Weave Bianco Wood with Atena Dot tile. Armstrong 3” Rustic Restoration in Essential Brown flooring.

This Tuscan style kitchen is beautiful with the stone vent hood, granite, custom cabinets and a large island to sit and visit while someone is cooking.

A modern kitchen with a traditional feel, this kitchen remodel was a complete gut rehab with a new window, electrical, plumbing, drywall, along with all the finishes. The door style cabinets are a lovely gray color from J&K painting, which stands out against the crisp white quartz counters and subway tile backsplash. The backsplash contains a penny accent, in a soft white color with a small delicate circular design, adding a warm tone to the bright whites. The kitchen also includes pendant lighting and dark wood plank tile flooring, giving the space a timeless finish. This kitchen also includes a row of directional spotlights, under cabinet LED lighting, a hidden microwave, new window above sink, and an electrical outlet in the top drawer next to the fridge for phones and other electronics. L'objectif principal de ce projet était de transformer ce 2 pièces en 3 pièces, pour créer une chambre d'enfant. Dans la nouvelle chambre parentale, plus petite, nous avons créé un dressing et un module de rangements sur mesure pour optimiser l'espace. L'espace nuit est délimité par un mur coloré @argilepeinture qui accentue l'ambiance cosy de la chambre. Dans la chambre d'enfant, le parquet en chêne massif @laparquetterienouvelle apporte de la chaleur à cette pièce aux tons clairs. La nouvelle cuisine, tendance et graphique, s'ouvre désormais sur le séjour. Cette grande pièce de vie conviviale accueille un coin bureau et des rangements sur mesure pour répondre aux besoins de nos clients. Quant à la salle d'eau, nous avons choisi des matériaux clairs pour apporter de la lumière à cet espace sans fenêtres. Le résultat : un appartement haussmanien et dans l'air du temps où il fait bon vivre !
