The Kitchen is the highlight of the large living space. It allows a variety of cooking, entertainment, dining, and leisure wit an indoor-outdoor orientation in one space. The long counter below large windows, large drawers finished with glossy white laminate doors (SIRIUS line in Frosty White) and a color matching ‘handle-less’ c-channel provides clean lines and good ergonomics. The large pullout drawers can carry up to 155 pounds, has internal drawers, and have internal LED lighting and a set of wood inserts accessories by LEICHT. The open pantry provides additional storage with uppers unit with dramatic smokey tinted glass uppers with internal LED lights, for a bar and glass storage. The tall 10’ high wall of storage in carbon gray super matte lacquer (BONDI line) provides a strong contrast to the white glossy lower units, ample household, and pantry storage, as well as hosting the fridge and oven appliances. Unique patterned corner open shelved unit on the left profile for presentation space and add lightne3ss tot he massive floor-to-ceiling volume. Counters are durable Dekton materials. The photos also feature a red Tagine pot from EMILE HENRY and copper pots by MAUVIEL.

The tall 10’ high wall of storage in carbon gray super matte lacquer (BONDI line) provides a strong contrast to the white glossy lower units, ample household, and pantry storage, as well as hosting the fridge and oven appliances. A new kitchen to exuded individuality and elegance, whilst connecting to the weightless, warm and open atmosphere one instantly feels upon entering the property.The decision to use a timber veneer for the cabinetry meant that we had the one of a kind feel that the client desired. Doors were designed with a 35mm edge profile with a mitred detail to all four corners. The unique mixture of the satin nickel finished brass mesh and grill and the timber veneer added warmth to the space which was important as the property faces south. The feeling of weightlessness and openness was achieved in a number of ways. A steel frame was designed to elevate the island cabinetry. This made the kitchen cabinetry appear light and also made the island look like a piece of bespoke, elegant furniture. The satin nickel finished brass mesh and grill feature doors to the back of the island also add to the open feeling of the kitchen as you can see through the mesh and these cabinets serve as display cabinets. A toughened mirror splashback was also specified. This perfectly reflected the water views, contributing to the open feel of the new kitchen, connecting it to the outside.

AFTER: The Kitchen was completely remodeled including new appliances, cabinets, countertop (with no backsplash), recessed lighting, under cabinet lighting; The ceiling was redesigned to eliminate large recess in the center. The Kitchen is separated from the Dining Room by a counter height breakfast bar. The walls and ceiling were repainted and the concrete floor was repaired and refinished.
