Enjoy yourself in this beautifully renovated and fully furnished property located in the middle of Rittenhouse Square. This modern city apartment has been uniquely decorated by the Remix Design team bringing in a local artist to add an urban twist to the city.

Tournant le dos à la terrasse malgré la porte-fenêtre qui y menait, l’agencement de la cuisine de ce bel appartement marseillais ne convenait plus aux propriétaires. La porte-fenêtre a été déplacée de façon à se retrouver au centre de la façade. Une fenêtre simple l’a remplacée, ce qui a permis d’installer l’évier devant et de profiter ainsi de la vue sur la terrasse.. Dissimulés derrière un habillage en plaqué chêne, le frigo et les rangements ont été rassemblés sur le mur opposé. C’est le contraste entre le papier peint à motifs et la brillance des zelliges qui apporte couleurs et fantaisie à cette cuisine devenue bien plus fonctionnelle pour une grande famille !. Three small rooms were demolished to enable a new kitchen and open plan living space to be designed. The kitchen has a drop-down ceiling to delineate the space. A window became french doors to the garden. The former kitchen was re-designed as a mudroom. The laundry had new cabinetry. New flooring throughout. A linen cupboard was opened to become a study nook with dramatic wallpaper. Custom ottoman were designed and upholstered for the drop-down dining and study nook. A family of five now has a fantastically functional open plan kitchen/living space, family study area, and a mudroom for wet weather gear and lots of storage.

C'est dans une sublime maison de maître de Montchat, dans le 3ème arrondissement de Lyon que s'installe ce projet. Deux espaces distincts ont laissé place à un volume traversant, exploitant la grande hauteur sous plafond et permettant de profiter de la lumière naturelle tout au long de la journée. Afin d'accentuer cet effet traversant, la cuisine sur-mesure a été imaginée tout en longueur avec deux vastes linéaires qui la rende très fonctionnelle pour une famille de 5 personnes. Le regard circule désormais de la cour au jardin et la teinte des éléments de cuisine ainsi que le papier-peint font entrer la nature à l'intérieur.

Some Mums want to have even a small table connected to the island for easy access from where the food is prepared to where her family members can eat. That was my idea for this kitchen renovation, where we created an island with a table attached, like an eat-in kitchen.
