In our world of kitchen design, it’s lovely to see all the varieties of styles come to life. From traditional to modern, and everything in between, we love to design a broad spectrum. Here, we present a two-tone modern kitchen that has used materials in a fresh and eye-catching way. With a mix of finishes, it blends perfectly together to create a space that flows and is the pulsating heart of the home. With the main cooking island and gorgeous prep wall, the cook has plenty of space to work. The second island is perfect for seating – the three materials interacting seamlessly, we have the main white material covering the cabinets, a short grey table for the kids, and a taller walnut top for adults to sit and stand while sipping some wine! I mean, who wouldn’t want to spend time in this kitchen?! Cabinetry With a tuxedo trend look, we used Cabico Elmwood New Haven door style, walnut vertical grain in a natural matte finish. The white cabinets over the sink are the Ventura MDF door in a White Diamond Gloss finish. Countertops The white counters on the perimeter and on both islands are from Caesarstone in a Frosty Carrina finish, and the added bar on the second countertop is a custom walnut top (made by the homeowner!) with a shorter seated table made from Caesarstone’s Raw Concrete. Backsplash The stone is from Marble Systems from the Mod Glam Collection, Blocks – Glacier honed, in Snow White polished finish, and added Brass. Fixtures A Blanco Precis Silgranit Cascade Super Single Bowl Kitchen Sink in White works perfect with the counters. A Waterstone transitional pulldown faucet in New Bronze is complemented by matching water dispenser, soap dispenser, and air switch. The cabinet hardware is from Emtek – their Trinity pulls in brass. Appliances The cooktop, oven, steam oven and dishwasher are all from Miele. The dishwashers are paneled with cabinetry material (left/right of the sink) and integrate seamlessly Refrigerator and Freezer columns are from SubZero and we kept the stainless look to break up the walnut some. The microwave is a counter sitting Panasonic with a custom wood trim (made by Cabico) and the vent hood is from Zephyr.

This contemporary kitchen design is the ideal space to host quiet family dinners or large gatherings. The white kitchen cabinets and matching island are perfectly complemented by stainless steel appliances and hardwood floors. The island offers seating, a built in microwave, and extra work space. The wall cabinetry includes a large customized pantry, a beverage bar with bi-fold doors and shelves to display glassware, and a wine refrigerator. A new contemporary kitchen for a family that loves to cook. The owners ' European preferences lead to the selection of the German made cabinets by Bulthaup. The crisp cabinet styling and sophisticated engineering allowed for a clean, minimal style. White cabinets and backsplash defined the walls. Darker cabinets and appliances defined areas of focus. Folding exterior doors enabled the entire corner to open to the deck and rear yard. Remote controlled screens lower from the ceiling to create a screened breakfast area. DLux Images

A vibrant blue island is the centerpiece of this white kitchen. The backsplash picks up on the color with a blue subway tile and dramatic quartz countertops. Beautiful matte brass lanterns from Serena & Lily accent the island. The appliances are all Thermador.

The true testament to a modern kitchen is its minimalistic approach. This beautiful walnut kitchen is accented by the white high gloss cabinetry portrayed in both the main kitchen and prep kitchen. We also included a walnut dry bar to make sure dinner parties had two separate areas for food presentation and drinks.

This kitchen packs a punch with high end appliances and luscious latte colored cabinets by Dura Supreme. The white Calacatta marble adds more elegance to this classic kitchen. The stacked glass cabinets gives the room more height as well as the unique hood and spice shelf over the cook top. The Hutch, which also serves as a bar, is highlighted in a lighter paint color. The large lantern over the kitchen table and the latch pulls add a hint of the past.

The perfect space for entertaining includes large countertop space for serving as well as hidden appliances for prep work: ice maker, wine fridge, large recessed standing refrigerator, sink and dishwasher all make this small space a powerhouse.

White herringbone backsplash adds a pop of texture to this modern kitchen redesign. Sleek Caesarstone countertops and gleaming stainless steel hood and appliances are as beautiful as they are functional. Storage is maximized with floor-to-ceiling DeWils shaker cabinets and a well-designed center island that seats five. The maple cabinets with full-overlay doors were painted in matte white with copper hardware. The countertop and backsplash were Hanstone Quartz in the Strato color. It included a 30” single-basin sink in 14-gauge hammered copper. For the floor they chose Lauzan Maple Hardwood in the Sahara finish, installed in the herringbone pattern. And to really set off the kitchen, the old appliances were replaced with new GE Café appliances in their classy matte white with brushed copper accents.
