Set on the magnificent Long Island Sound, Field Point Circle has a celebrated history as Greenwich’s premier neighborhood—and is considered one of the 10 most prestigious addresses in the country. The Field Point Circle Association, with 27 estate homes, has a single access point and 24 hour security. The Pryory was designed by the eminent architectural firm Cross & Cross in the spirit of an English countryside estate and is set on 2.4 waterfront acres with a private beach and mooring. Perched on a hilltop, the property’s rolling grounds unfold from the rear terrace down to the pool and rippling water’s edge. Through the ivy-covered front door awaits the paneled grand entry with its soaring three-story carved wooden staircase. The adjacent double living room is bookended by stately fireplaces and flooded with light thanks to the span of windows and French doors out to the terrace and water beyond. Most rooms throughout the home boast water views, including the Great Room, which is cloaked in tiger oak and capped with hexagonal patterned high ceilings. One of Greenwich’s famed Great Estates, The Pryory offers the finest workmanship, materials, architecture, and landscaping in an exclusive and unparalleled coastal setting.

We love the marble backsplash and marble countertops, the marble floor, white kitchen cabinets, chandelier and double ovens, to name a few of our favorite design elements.

In contrast to the splash back, the beautiful simplicity of the eating station and seating area is directly inspired by the naturalistic wooden feel of Scandinavian kitchen design. This creates an interesting contrast between the separate zones of the kitchen and clearly denotes a different use for each part of the space.

Completely renovated gourmet kitchen and butters pantry in Rancho Santa Fe fit with all custom quarter-sawn white oak cabinetry designed with the lines of antique furniture as the inspiration paired with the modernism of matte black forged iron cabinetry and iron lattice grate features, sexy ribbed finial one-of-a-kind legs for the island, Calacata Michaelangelo marble on all surfaces including backsplashes, sink front and pair of drawer fronts flanking the Wolf cooktop. In addition to the cabinetry, the round custom butcher block cabinet, quilted millwork and hand forged ironworks, the brass cabinetry hardware pulls and knobs, swivel barstools, both iron pendants with black linen fabric lined in gold silk shades over the island and the three iron and wood light sconces placed high above the sink window were also designed and made in my custom work rooms south of the border which allowed for us to create and exceptional one-of-a-kind design AND high-end quality product for our client at a fraction of the cost in comparison as to if this design had been produced in Southern California. Derwent Island house situated on its own private island is leased by the national trust. The handcrafted kitchen had to be transported by boat crossing the only means of transport to and from the island.
