This gorgeous kitchen was transformed into a warm traditional design with Starmark cherrywood cabinets featuring a tapered range hood. Showcasing Thermador stainless steel appliances and Sienna Bordeaux granite countertops, this new space is a functional kitchen designed for hosting and entertaining! While working with this couple on their master bathroom, they asked us to renovate their kitchen which was still in the 70’s and needed a complete demo and upgrade utilizing new modern design and innovative technology and elements. We transformed an indoor grill area with curved design on top to a buffet/serving station with an angled top to mimic the angle of the ceiling. Skylights were incorporated for natural light and the red brick fireplace was changed to split face stacked travertine which continued over the buffet for a dramatic aesthetic. The dated island, cabinetry and appliances were replaced with bark-stained Hickory cabinets, a larger island and state of the art appliances. The sink and faucet were chosen from a source in Chicago and add a contemporary flare to the island. An additional buffet area was added for a tv, bookshelves and additional storage. The pendant light over the kitchen table took some time to find exactly what they were looking for, but we found a light that was minimalist and contemporary to ensure an unobstructed view of their beautiful backyard. The result is a stunning kitchen with improved function, storage, and the WOW they were going for.

This Scripps Rancho transformation involved a wall removal to include these new additional Starmark Cherrywood cabinets with glass front uppers with a Sienna Bordeaux granite countertops. A rustic kitchen that features a stone masonry and weathered looking cabinets, with iron wrought pendant chandeliers that make the place warm and vibrant. The exposed beams and vaulted ceiling make an open space that make a huge and spacious impression. While the antique chairs along the island add a dramatic and aged look. The Kitchen/Dining space in the original cabin felt dark and did not take full advantage of the gorgeous river views. The reconfigured space increases the storage, brings in more light, and have a river view from the sink as well as from the dining table.

Our bespoke handmade kitchens here in London normally include a kitchen island and this London townhouse kitchen was no exception. The homeowners of this luxury kitchen in London decided to have their cabinets hand painted in Lamp Room Gray, a Farrow and Ball colour which contrasted perfectly with the Steel Grey Granite worktop. For the island cabinets our Clients chose Railings another Farrow and Ball colour which contrasted beautifully with the brilliant white quartz worktop. What a contrast in colour and what a contrast in design, for this beautiful London townhouse.
