The kitchen features book matched walnut, paired with white upper cabinets to add a touch of light in the kitchen. Miele appliances surround the cabinetry. The home’s front entrance has matching built in walnut book matched cabinetry that ties the kitchen in with the front entrance. Walnut built-in cabinetry in the basement showcase nicely as open sightlines in the basement and main floor allow for the matching cabinetry to been seen through the open staircase. Fun red and white high gloss acrylics pop in the modern, yet functional laundry room. This home is truly a work of art!

In this project we redesigned and renovated the first floor of the clients house. We created an open floor plan, larger Kitchen, seperate Mudroom, and larger Laundry Room. The cabinets are one of our local made custom frameless cabinets. They are a frameless, 3/4" plywood construction. The door is a modified shaker door we call a Step-Frame. The wood is Cherry and the stain is Blossom. The Laundry Room cabinets are the same doorstyle but an Antique White paint on Maple. The countertops are Cambria quartz and the color is Windemere. The backsplash is a 4x4 and 3x6 tumbled marble in Pearl with a Sonoma Tile custom blend for the accent. The floors are an oak wood that were custom stained on site.

A convergence of sleek contemporary style and organic elements culminate in this elevated esthetic. High gloss white contrasts with sustainable bamboo veneers, run horizontally, and stained a warm matte caramel color. The showpiece is the 3” bamboo framing around the tall units, engineered in strips that perfectly align with the breaks in the surrounding cabinetry. So as not to clutter the clean lines of the flat panel doors, the white cabinets open with touch latches, most of which have lift-up mechanisms. Base cabinets have integrated channel hardware in stainless steel, echoing the appliances. Storage abounds, with such conveniences as tray partitions, corner swing-out lazy susans, and assorted dividers and inserts for the profusion of large drawers. Pure white quartz countertops terminate in a waterfall end at the peninsula, where there’s room for three comfortable stools under the overhang. A unique feature is the execution of the cooktop: it’s set flush into the countertop, with a fascia of quartz below it; the cooktop’s knobs are set into that fascia. To assure a clean look throughout, the quartz is continued onto the backsplashes, punctuated by a sheet of stainless steel behind the rangetop and hood. Serenity and style in a hardworking space. The kitchen design features a versatile, flat-panel door style with a medium matte finish and quartz countertops. The dual height island and special sink/stove aprons allow for a wheelchair to slide underneath with ease, which gives all members of the family a chance to participate in meal prep and socialization within the kitchen. Another special ADA feature is a special wall oven that opens side to side instead of up and down, allowing easier access for anyone in a wheelchair. Other special features include decorative glass doors, plate organizer drawer, crown molding that fades into the wall, and a wood hood.
