The refurbishment makes the most of an unconventional layout to create a light-filled home. The apartment, in a 3-storey Edwardian terrace on a dense urban site in London Bridge, was originally converted from office space to residential use. Over the years, it underwent various unsympathetic alterations and extensions, resulting in an unconventional layout which meant the apartment was unwelcoming and lacking light. To begin with, we opened up the space, removing partitions to create an open plan layout, creating light and connections across the apartment. We introduced a series of insertions in the form of vertical panels and white, oiled, Douglas Fir flooring, to create new living and sleeping spaces. Full-height pivoting doors are concealed by folding back into the walls, which allow the space to be read as tne single plane. The bleached timber floor adds to the effect, creating a lightfilled ‘box’ that’s accented with the owner’s colourful art and furniture. The communal areas have been designed as open and engaging spaces where the family comes together to cook, eat and relax. Secondary working space and storage has been created through a number of sculptural boxes which form the enclosure to the shower room. Bedrooms are configured around three spaces – storage, dressing and sleeping – and orientated towards the rear where doors lead out onto a small terrace. The precision of the design makes the most out of the small floorplate, creating a generous sense of space that allows the family to manipulate areas to suit their own needs. This open plan kitchen is a mix of Anthracite Grey & Platinum Light Grey in a matt finish. This handle-less kitchen is a very contemporary design. The Ovens are Siemens StudioLine Black steel, the hob is a 2in1 Miele downdraft extractor which works well on the island.

This small kitchen space needed to have every inch function well for this young family. By adding the banquette seating we were able to get the table out of the walkway and allow for easier flow between the rooms. Wall cabinets to the counter on either side of the custom plaster hood gave room for food storage as well as the microwave to get tucked away. The clean lines of the slab drawer fronts and beaded inset make the space feel visually larger.

Working with our long standing property developer client, Beaufield Homes; KCA designed and installed the kitchen for this five bedroom, 3 story detached house backing onto open fields in Cobham. Situated on the ground floor of the house features this highly specified kitchen which is open plan to the dining and family areas, with large bi-fold doors leading onto the rear garden. The design includes contemporary Systemat furniture in Putty Concrete and Pearl Grey with Miele appliances. Silestone worktops in Snowy Ibiza and a mitered Silestone breakfast bar in Cemento Spa.

A well planned family kitchen hand built in the Shaker style. Designed to meet the customers brief of an eating and cooking space which all the family could enjoy. The kitchen includes a bespoke island with a Quartz worktop and breakfast bar seating in Caesarstone's Misty Carrara. Like the base cabinets it's painted in Farrow & Ball's Stiffkey Blue whilst the wall units are painted in Pavilion Grey. The cabinetry is perfectly complemented by the brushed nickel handles and solid oak shelves with painted gallows brackets.

Three different finishes complete this Dura Supreme kitchen. Here the white painted and cherry show off against a dark Caesarstone Quartz counter top. The microwave has custom stainless steel side panels.

Réalisation d'une cuisine Cesar avec façades laquées blanc brillant, plans de travail en Granit Noir du Zimbabwe effet cuir et table en chêne massif vernis mat. Enfin, le meuble bas une porte, situé au dos de la péninsule, est réalisé sur-mesure avec une façade allant jusqu'au sol pour qu'il s'intègre et se dissimule parfaitement côté salle à manger.
