As seen on the revisited edition of George Clarke's Restoration Man, screened on Channel 4 on the 12th of March. This was part of the stunning re-development of the Water Tower in Pannal, near Harrogate. The kitchen design is a U shape with a peninsular based around the main well which sits central to the kitchen. The well was cleaned out and lit up with a toughened piece of glass covering it, a real feature piece. We chose a micro cement floor for this space, choosing a warm neutral that sat perfectly with the wall colour. This entire extension space was intended to feel like a bright and sunny contrast to the pattern and colour of the rest of the house. A sense of calm, space, and comfort exudes from the space. We chose linen and boucle fabrics for the furniture, continuing the restrained palette. The enormous sculptural kitchen is grounding the space, which we designed in collaboration with Roundhouse Design. However, to continue the sense of space and full-height ceiling scale, we colour-matched the kitchen wall cabinets with the wall paint colour. the base units were sprayed in farrow and ball 'Railings'.

Interior Design Cambridge developed a vast kitchen for Claire-Lousie and her growing family of four. This kitchen is designed and built to a very high standard of cabinets and fixtures, including a Quooker tap and ice machine. Architecturally we were blessed with skylights that are there to maximise light during daytime hours. We added extra lighting fixtures for evening relaxation and dining purposes.
