Im zentralen Raum teilen sich Küche, Essplatz und Sofaecke die Fläche. Die Küche wurde auf Maß vom Schreiner gefertigt. In der Zeile an der Wand sind – neben viel Stauraum – auch Backofen, Dampfgarer, Kühlschrank und Spülmaschine untergebracht. Die Spüle aus Edelstahl ist unter der Arbeitsplatte aus Feinsteinzeug eingebaut, die Abtropffläche wurde leicht vertieft und mit Gefälle ausgeführt. Die Rückwand wurde mit einem mattierten, rückseitig weiß lackierten Floatglas verkleidet. Hinter den Klappen über der Arbeitsfläche ist das täglich benutzte Geschirr jederzeit griffbereit. Eine eingelassene LED-Leiste an der Unterseite des Schranks beleuchtet die Arbeitsfläche gleichmäßig, ohne zu blenden. Als einziges Element in der Zeile ist der Schrank in Eiche ausgeführt. Damit wird er zum Blickpunkt, die umgebenden weißen Fronten treten in den Hintergrund. Der große Küchenblock in Eiche ist der Mittelpunkt und zugleich die Abtrennung zum Essplatz. Hier kann problemlos auch mit mehreren Personen gleichzeitig gekocht werden. Das Kochfeld ist flächenbündig in die Platte eingebaut und hat einen integrierten Muldenlüfter. Seitlich steht die Arbeitsplatte über und bildet mit zwei Hockern einen kleinen Sitzplatz. Zur Küche hin bieten Schubladen viel Platz für Kochgeschirr und -besteck. In den Fächern in Richtung Essplatz sind Geschirr und Gläser untergebracht. Aus praktischen Erwägungen sind die Schränke der häufig genutzten Fächer in der Küche mit Griffen versehen. Grifflos sind nur die Schränke ganz oben und die Fächer im Küchenblock in Richtung Essplatz.

The stunning kitchen features a combination of Ben Heath bespoke and Neptune cabinetry. The kitchen is finished in Neptune's water-based Old Chalk paint with a Blue Grey limestone worktop and a Cognac satino limestone flooring. A combination of traditional techniques and pure innovation led to the design expertise in this minimalist, handcrafted kitchen project by Woodstock Furniture, which features 3m-high ceilings for dramatic impact. Using only the finest quality, sustainable timber, a bank of units in sumptuous, chocolate brown, stained oak frames a bank of appliances and creates a streamlined finish to one wall. This large expanse of units is broken up at the far end with a wet zone and a fresh, limestone worktop. This luxurious worktop, which is 60mm deep and features riven edges for distinctive design detail, follows through to the long island unit. This area has a breakfast bar at one end for dining with a highly polished stainless steel plinth and a flush hob for cooking at the other for multi-functional use.

Diese wunderschöne Küche ist ein wahrer Wohlfühlraum geworden. Die Kücheninsel ist das Herzstück der Küche. Hier kommt zum Kochen die ganze Familie zusammen. An dem grossen Massivholzesstisch finden viele Freunde und Familienmitglieder auf den gemütlichen, bunt durcheinander gewürfelten, Designklassikern Platz. In den Küchenschränken haben wir extrem viel Stauraum, der sehr dabei hilft eine herrliche Ordnung beizubehalten.

A main feature in this kitchen/diner is the 3 door Aga along with useful storage solutions including a plate rack for drying/displaying plates and an integrated dishwasher to the left.
