This stunning kitchen near Falmouth provided us with an amazing opportunity to explore the limits of kitchen design and materials, enabling us to create a unique multi-functional space. The area includes an enormous island for food prep and entertaining. The large bank of tall cabinets housed 2 ovens, a coffee machine, a combi/microwave, 2 warming drawers, a full-height fridge, freezer and wine cooler as well as 2 larders. Separate built-in furniture provides a drinks cabinet and a concealed media centre. We were impressed by the exceptional craftsmanship from all our suppliers and our fitters to create a seamless built-in look in an open plan area that had previously been a lounge. The kitchen itself is manufactured by British company Masterclass Kitchens in Lumina gloss in Graphite with a pale Scots Grey to contrast on the island. Beautiful Neolith Mont Blanc Silk sintered stone deep profile worktops with meticulously matched veining were crafted by Duke Stone of Cornwall. A complex lighting scheme with several zones managed via an i-Pad app was installed by Falmouth Electrics, including recessed ceiling lighting that perfectly echoed the shape of the island. The spectacular glass panelling made by Optidek integrated original artwork by artisan glass company Red Dog Glass Design - a gorgeous finishing touch. A luxury suite included Neff appliances, Dunavox wine fridge, Quopoker Cube tap, and composite Blanco sinks. It is an absolutely beautiful kitchen of which we are exceptionally proud!

This new build in Battle Ground is the true definition of "modern farmhouse". Yes it's actually a modern house on a farm! The kitchen opens up to the outdoor entertaining area and has a nice open layout. The coffee bar on the side gets lots of use from all of the family members and keeps people out of the cooking area if they need to grab a cup of coffee or tea. Appliances are Miele and Fisher & Paykel. The bar-top is black Fenix.

This high end custom home was a designer's dream canvas. Throughout the spacious, light filled residence, our walnut Poliform cabinetry echoes the clean lines of the architecture and brings warm definition. The upper level kitchen was designed with two islands, a wine bar, and a discreet pantry revealing a functional back up zone and smart office area. This comprehensive project also included a lower level entertainer's kitchen, bathrooms, offices, and more; all in a cohesive palette of walnut, matte white lacquer, white quartz and stainless. This renovation began with a large wish list and the highest priority was to remodel the kitchen with a larger work space and better flow to the home. During the planning stages we decided to knock down a wall that closed off the kitchen from the Dining Room. We relocated the range which is now a focal point between two windows. The light color palette opens up the space while adding the dramatic contrasting Island finish. The kitchen is now complete with a coffee center, Subzero wine storage, Wolf range with custom hood, and double islands with an integrated breakfast table. Although we did not add any SQ. footage to the plan with the use of color and open concept this space feels much larger and far more comfortable.

Ultramodern German Kitchen in Worthing, West Sussex This German kitchen project in Worthing required extensive structural works to divide two rooms and create an open-plan space. Designer Phil has created an ultramodern handleless kitchen space, complete with high-tech appliances and TV area. The Brief A spacious and vast open-plan kitchen was the end goal of this project, which was not an easy task considering the space was originally two rooms. Advanced structural works were required to support the rest of the property, with flooring, lighting and an exterior bi-fold door also part of the plans. Designer Phil was tasked with envisaging a design which incorporated all this client’s requirements, whilst implementing a homely and modern kitchen theme. Design Elements Before fitting the kitchen, our structural team had to undertake significant works. Following the removal of a dividing wall, four steels had to be fixed in a square formation to support the property, this left a huge space for the kitchen Phil had designed for this client. A homely, yet modern theme was preferred with a combination of Stone Grey and Slate grey matt units opted for. These two finishes are complimented by Havana oak wood accents and the handless design of the kitchen. To meet the client’s requirements, an island, TV area and full-height corner storage feature, in addition to a wall-to-wall run which houses kitchen appliances and storage. Special Inclusions Special inclusions are aplenty in this kitchen. A grid of appliances is comprised of a Neff slide & hide oven, combination oven, warming drawer, coffee centre and Caple wine cabinet. Each provide an array of useful functions for this client, and elsewhere are accompanied by a Neff induction hob, Neff telescopic extractor hood and a Quooker 100°C boiling water tap. Designer Phil has incorporated numerous design features like a glass-ended unit on the island, cookbook storage space, feature shelving in the TV area and a raised natural wood work surface on the island. Our structural team were also tasked with widening an exterior doorway and fitting bi-fold doors which look out to the vibrant garden. Project Highlight The TV area is a lovely highlight of this project. Phil has framed this with additional storage and decorative wood effect shelving. Nearby a full-height radiator and full-height storage provide warmth and even more storage to the kitchen space. The End Result The end result is a space that is unrecognisable and has been completely transformed with the expertise of our fitting team. In addition to the structural works, Karndean flooring, lighting and heating improvements have been made involving almost every facet of our installation team. The modern direction given, really opened up the use of line, form, shape and weight. All of these design elements being very strong, were softened by the use of an organic colour scheme. This was especially important as the house had such a strong connection with neighbouring national park. The highlight window heavily dictated the strong use of horizontal lines in the kitchen. This was achieved through the use of Blum Aventos HK lift ups, wide drawers and running the timber grain horizontally. The double layered wall cabinetry above the cooktop, at different depths added shape and form to this long run of cabinetry. Shape and form was also strongly considered when designing the kitchen island. The client’s decision to restrict the kitchen size to allow for a separate casual eating area meant that the kitchen island could become the kitchen show piece. The intent was for the island to be a piece of art, sculptural in form and weight. The box details at each end of the island with the shadow-line running through to match the drawers on the back of the island added another visual dimension. The decision to increase the kickboard set back finally gave the island a weightlessness which it needed to balance out its large scale.

Interior Designer & Homestager, Celene Collins (info@celenecollins.ie), beautifully finished this show house for new housing estate Drake's Point in Crosshaven,Cork recently using some of our products. This is showhouse type J. In the hallway, living room and kitchen area, she opted for "Balterio Vitality De Luxe - Natural Varnished Oak" an 8mm laminate board which works very well with the rich earthy tones she had chosen for the furnishings, paint and wainscoting.

The scope and scale of this custom built hood soffit and surround can be seen here. The hood unit is 48" wide, just 1/3 of the entire length of this structure.
