Photo by Jody Dole This charming farmhouse sits atop a grassy hill overlooking a serene Connecticut River Estuary. The new design reformulated the first floor plan making it much more functional and visually exciting. It encompassed the reorganization of multiple spaces including the Mudroom, Kitchen, Dining Room, Family Room, Sun Room, Laundry, Bathroom, and Master Closet. The design also added, deleted, and relocated windows and French doors to greatly enhance exterior views, draw in more natural light, and seamlessly upgrade the articulation of exterior elevations. Improvements to the plumbing and mechanical systems were also made. The overall feeling is both sophisticated and yet very much down to earth. John R. Clients needed full rehab of kitchen and powder room. It dated back to the 70s. Larger and more efficient windows bring in the outside, Priairie Style. Builtin cabinets were added to the old kitchen addition. Prairie style door pulls were used, back door replaced, recessed lighting added and floor was made level.

DOOR OR DOOR/DRAWER COMBO.....IN EITHER CASE, BE SURE TO USE UNDERMOUNT CONFIGURATION SO IT'S EASIER TO LIFT OUT CANISTER.....TOP MOUNT REQUIRES YOU TO LIFT CANISTERS ALL THE WAY UP AND OVER SUPPORT.....THERE'S THAT BEAUTIFUL FLOORING AGAIN.

Gorgeous Cherry kitchen with stacked cabinets, plank tle flooring, granite tos, glass mosaic backsplash and please notice the reshaping of the passthrough to match the arched window opposite it in the room. The addition of the island created more storage and work space.

Situated within a recently renovated farmhouse; our bespoke shaker furniture finished in farrow and ball’s elephant’s breath with contrasting island in Little Greene paint company’s attic ii, creates an earthy palette which draws inspiration from it’s rural surroundings. the ‘L’ shaped island provides maximum prep space combined with large breakfast bar makes this a perfect layout for family and entertaining.

Kitchen, this open kitchen has top & bottom cabinetry in wood finishes. Top cabinetry has a horizontal wood streak in soft pastel beige, while the bottom has a vertical streak in warm oak wood finish with medium wood counter top. Back splash is in royal red layered with tinted glass material. Overall, walls are white washed with ceramic white tiling.

Description : Printed 'image on glass' splashbacks create a visual masterpiece and WOW factor in your kitchen or bathroom. My customer approached me as she really wanted my original Tui Portrait image but her splashback was differing heights and the original artwork wouldn't work compositionally. So I revisited the original photoshoot of the Tui birds and made up this artwork that fits perfectly with the heights and dimensions. This would be one of my favourite kitchen and splashback designs so far - the natural timber works so well with the flax and Tui image and gives the kitchen such a wonderful serene atmosphere. The chosen image is direct printed the glass and the printed glass splashback is fixed with concealed fixings to the wall. Glass is the perfect choice for a splashback - it's extremely tough, durable, scratch resistant, fireproof, easy to clean and hygienic .
