Along the wall we used a compact laminate worktop. A great worktop that is 100% water proof and super easy to install. Being a compact laminate, it allows undermounted sinks to be installed. The bank of tall units are impressive with the Neff appliances. The ovens and combi oven are at the perfect height and are in a great position opposite the island. Under the combi oven in the middle is the warming drawer. Great for keeping plates warm and also keeps the symmetry of the design.

The Fjord green is a beautiful colour that brings a fresh, airy feel to the kitchen, whilst the wooden grain of the island is warm and comforting. This combination is like bringing the outdoors in! On the island we have the new NEFF Home UK flex induction hob with the magnetic removable twist pad and the Neff downdraft with glass panel. Both of which can be connected to the Neff Home Connect app. The black of the appliances look great against the white Quartz worktops. Along the wall we used a compact laminate worktop. A great worktop that is 100% water proof and super easy to install. Being a compact laminate, it allows undermounted sinks to be installed.

The client of this Coastal chalet bungalow located in Barton On Sea wanted a light and contemporary kitchen but without the normal whites and grey tones, the client had a contemporary painting that held sentimental value to them and enjoyed the colours in it, the main Kitchen colour was taken from the picture as inspiration. As we had to work around an existing chimney stack we soon had to factor in several important areas of the kitchen, the locations for the Boiler, Ovens, fridge, and freezer all within a confined space. We decided it was best to use the height of the interior section of the chimney to utilise the Fridge and ovens leaving the remaining of the kitchen for under-counter appliances to maximise the worktop potential. Pronorm provides expensive customisations to their kitchen cabinets so we had the option to provide specially sized units for the difficult area to create as much symmetry and to keep the design as minimal as possible. The kitchen was provided in X-LINE LM with a lacquered door that’s finished in green-grey. We then complemented this colour with a Quartz worktop that was chalky off-white with mottled veins and a mirrored splash-back directly under the illuminated wall units that finished the whole space off.

Our client was keen to ensure their personality shone through the kitchen. Their bold characters and love of colour led us to design the kitchen with stunning matt orange cabinetry. The result is quite stunning. Due to the large space, this bold colour choice is fair from overpowering; the light walls and floor, as well as the natural light, provide a wonderful backdrop to implement such a bold tone.
