OVERVIEW Set into a mature Boston area neighborhood, this sophisticated 2900SF home offers efficient use of space, expression through form, and myriad of green features. MULTI-GENERATIONAL LIVING Designed to accommodate three family generations, paired living spaces on the first and second levels are architecturally expressed on the facade by window systems that wrap the front corners of the house. Included are two kitchens, two living areas, an office for two, and two master suites. CURB APPEAL The home includes both modern form and materials, using durable cedar and through-colored fiber cement siding, permeable parking with an electric charging station, and an acrylic overhang to shelter foot traffic from rain. The client's love of sky blue was stunningly incorporated into the design of both their kitchen and bathroom. In the kitchen, the wide use of stainless steel and white keep the mood uplifted and makes for a very practical surface. The glass cabinets mimic clouds, and there is ample lighting to further enhance the effect in this almost windowless kitchen. Triple ovens, built-in sink with Zip tap, integrated fridge and dishwasher, walk-in pantry and clever breakfast bar area, are just some of the features in this kitchen. The bathroom's crisp, blue and white colour scheme is refreshingly lovely and practical. The use of contrasting timber warms the space and echoes the burnished brown tones in the mosaics. The freestanding bath creates a beautiful center piece and the frameless shower whilst spacious, does not crowd the room. Well-chosen tapware and fittings make for a very personlised look.

This stunning, contemporary kitchen for one of our recent clients has been designed by choosing high gloss magnolia white and silver grey door fronts, a co-ordinating grey glass splash back and a Dekton worktop. These materials ensure the kitchen is a bright, light space. Carefully selected and positioned modern appliances and storage options ensure that the clients has everything they need within a practical working triangle. The German designed cabinetry ensures there is endless storage for a family's needs within the kitchen, hidden carefully behind the door fronts.

Craig Thompson Photography NKBA 1st Place Winner in Medium Kitchen Category Lead Designer: Emily Miller, CKD Co-Designer: Tommy Trzcinski This downtown condominium remodel included combining two neighboring units into one large two-bedroom home with a sprawling great room encompassing a kitchen, dining room with fireplace, living room with custom entertainment unit, and water feature. The clients requested that the Kitchen remain the hub and focus of the great room while anchoring the rest of the space as a backdrop. The clients wanted to be sure the kitchen was delineated as its own space to function well on a daily basis as well as open and accessible during larger gatherings.
