Let's Talk Kitchens & InteriorsThis kitchen was created for two very keen home cooks who live on a beautiful acreage property in Main Ridge, on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. The original kitchen in this space was a u-shape layout and had limited preparation space for the homeowners. In this new kitchen design the layout was completely re-thought and two island benches were created. As part of this redesign, what used to be a walk-in-pantry was opened up to create an appliance nook and extra drawer storage. This kitchen easily accommodates two cooks at the same time and the homeowners are now able to face the dining area and interact with their guests while cooking.
KAS Interior DesignContemporary kitchen. Granite counters sit atop custom made gray cabinets. Stainless steel appliances and hardware help create the contemporary feel. Accent LED lighting under cabinets, light bands in the cabinet faces and in a display cabinet enhance to look of the kitchen.

P & K JoineryA significant transformation to the layout allowed this room to evolve into a multi function space. With precise allocation of appliances, generous proportions to the island bench; which extends around to create a comfortable dining space and clean lines, this open plan kitchen and living area will be the envy of all entertainers!
Mal Corboy DesignThis kitchen was part of a total home renovation. It features Grantie (Super White) bench tops and Island, LED lighting was added to the island as a feature. The island also houses the wine fridge at one end and the integrated dishwasher.
The large grey glass panel next to the wall ovens, slides up and down - the top part is for their various liquors and spirits, whilst the bottom is an appliance garage.
Flooring was existing timber flooring from the original villa which was sanded refinished.

The Plywood Kitchen CompanyBirch Plywood Kitchen with Oak veneered plywood fronts. The grain different orientated to give a unique pattern and layout. The Blacked & Rusts liquid metal doors were sprayed in house to match an existing steel cabinet the client owned. The reclaimed timber worktops were originally the ceiling joists from part of the project. All the defects, worm holes and voids were filled with black resin before sanding and top coated in a hard was oil finish.

Cabinets BY ZePHYRA 1950s remodel involved gutting the entire kitchen and bathrooms. The client specified the white beach cabinet collection white acrylic cabinets. Top cabinets are flip tops. Base cabinets are soft close.

David Hall Kitchen and Furniture MakersThe kitchen features clean minimal lines, a large, over 4m, island, a breakfast cabinet with illuminated glazed interior, and a triangular (on plan) full height end cabinet which resolved the oblique angle within the run of the wall. Finishes include two bespoke colours of paint and Fumed Eucalyptus veneer, back painted glass and Excava by Caesarstone which creates a dramatic centrepiece to the kitchen.

Josh Housdan DesignThe owners of this 1968 post-and-beam home that is a part of the original Reston planned community were seeking to modernize an untouched “time capsule” house while respecting the existing mid-century bones of the home. An entire renovation to the existing house as well as a two-car garage addition and rear decks help maintain the character of the existing home while further opening up the rear of the home to the nature preserve in the back.
