Ultramodern German Kitchen in Cranleigh, Surrey This Cranleigh kitchen makes the most of a bold kitchen theme and our design & supply only fitting option. The Brief This Cranleigh project sought to make use of our design & supply only service, with a design tailored around the sunny extension being built by a contractor at this property. The task for our Horsham based kitchen designer George was to create a design to suit the extension in the works as well as the style and daily habits of these Cranleigh clients. A theme from our Horsham Showroom was a favourable design choice for this project, with adjustments required to fit this space. Design Elements With the core theme of the kitchen all but decided, the layout of the space was a key consideration to ensure the new space would function as required. A clever layout places full-height units along the rear wall of this property with all the key work areas of this kitchen below the three angled windows of the extension. The theme combines dark matt black furniture with ferro bronze accents and a bronze splashback. The handleless profiling throughout is also leant from the display at our Horsham showroom and compliments the ultramodern kitchen theme of black and bronze. To add a further dark element quartz work surfaces have been used in the Vanilla Noir finish from Caesarstone. A nice touch to this project is an in keeping quartz windowsill used above the sink area. Special Inclusions With our completely custom design service, a number of special inclusions have been catered for to add function to the project. A key area of the kitchen where function is added is via the appliances chosen. An array of Neff appliances have been utilised, with high-performance N90 models opted for across a single oven, microwave oven and warming drawer. Elsewhere, full-height fridge and freezers have been integrated behind furniture, with a Neff dishwasher located near to the sink also integrated behind furniture. A popular wine cabinet is fitted within furniture around the island space in this kitchen. Project Highlight The highlight of this project lays within the coordinated design & supply only service provided for this project. Designer George tailored our service to this project, with a professional survey undertaken as soon as the area of the extension was constructed. With any adjustments made, the furniture and appliances were conveniently delivered to site for this client’s builder to install. Our work surface partner then fitted the quartz work surfaces as the final flourish. The End Result This project is a fantastic example of the first-class results that can be achieved using our design & supply only fitting option, with the design perfectly tailored to the building work undertaken – plus timely coordination with the builder working on the project. This beautiful and minimalist kitchen can remain clutter free, as there is literally a home for everything, between secret compartments, hidden drawers and bags of clever storage solutions. The matte doors and matte Silestone worktops are complimented with a sleek handleless rail system.

Knocking through between the existing small kitchen and dining room really opened up the space allowing light to flood through. As the new room was quite long and narrow, a small breakfast bar peninsular was incorporated into the design along with a feature tall bank of framed units that help to visually shorten the space and connect both areas. Painting the tall units in Fired Earth Rose Bay gave the owner free range to indulge her love of pink in the glass pink and gold splashback behind the induction hob.

This handle-less kitchen in a high gloss finish is teamed with contrasting dark stained oak flat panel doors with oak framing and end panels and brushed steel plinth. This kitchen is very well equipped with a Quooker PRO3 boiling water tap, and an extensive range of Miele appliances including twin single ovens, a combi microwave, steam oven, induction hob, dishwaster, wine cooler and built-in tall fridge/freezers to either side of the ovens in the tall units. This kitchen was designed by using a combination of materials such as ultra high gloss oxide metallic and matt white doors. The bright splash back not only adds a vibrant colour connecting the materials together, but brings warmth into the whole of the kitchen making it and ideal place for the family to connect, cook and eat.

COUNTRY HOUSE INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT We were thrilled to be asked to provide our full interior design service for this luxury new-build country house, deep in the heart of the Lincolnshire hills. Our client approached us as soon as his offer had been accepted on the property – the year before it was due to be finished. This was ideal, as it meant we could be involved in some important decisions regarding the interior architecture. Most importantly, we were able to input into the design of the kitchen and the state-of-the-art lighting and automation system. This beautiful country house now boasts an ambitious, eclectic array of design styles and flavours. Some of the rooms are intended to be more neutral and practical for every-day use. While in other areas, Tim has injected plenty of drama through his signature use of colour, statement pieces and glamorous artwork. FORMULATING THE DESIGN BRIEF At the initial briefing stage, our client came to the table with a head full of ideas. Potential themes and styles to incorporate – thoughts on how each room might look and feel. As always, Tim listened closely. Ideas were brainstormed and explored; requirements carefully talked through. Tim then formulated a tight brief for us all to agree on before embarking on the designs. METROPOLIS MEETS RADIO GAGA GRANDEUR Two areas of special importance to our client were the grand, double-height entrance hall and the formal drawing room. The brief we settled on for the hall was Metropolis – Battersea Power Station – Radio Gaga Grandeur. And for the drawing room: James Bond’s drawing room where French antiques meet strong, metallic engineered Art Deco pieces. The other rooms had equally stimulating design briefs, which Tim and his team responded to with the same level of enthusiasm.

Une cuisine de rêve qui donne envie de s’y mettre tout de suite ! La pièce a été rénovée du sol au plafond, en travaillant autour du noir. Ma cliente souhaitait une cuisine full black à la fois élégante et lumineuse. Nous avons donc sélectionné des meubles noir de qualité, avec une finition « peau de pêche ». Soyeux au toucher, ils offrent cette touche de confort tout en douceur. Pour apporter de la brillance, nous avons également travaillé sur un jeu de lumières. Les spots du plafond et ceux intégrés dans les meubles illuminent subtilement l’acier de l’électroménager et des sièges de bar. Des heures de travail, de la conception à la réalisation, ont été nécessaires pour un résultat tout simplement sublime. Les finitions sont impeccables dans tous les recoins de la cuisine ! Project was covering: • Moving Kitchen from back of the property to front of the property taking space of old living room. Now it creates open plan Kitchen / Dinig area plus extra living space created from old conservatory which after small modernisation gives extra square meters of living space • Old kitchen will now be as a playroom, newly plastered walls, woodwork and flooring • As Living Room turns into new kitchen, new space for it we've created by converting garage into Living Room. Garage was integrated with house on a ground floor and now it is hardly to say there was garage before... • Part of converting garage into living room, was creating cupboard • Also Bathroom has new shape now... Completely stripped, new layout and modern look • Whole ground floor in the property have been replastered using lime based renders and fillers. • Floors have been leveled using self leveling compound • Quickstep flooring and new skirtings, architraves and windowboards • New electrics and downlights
