Luxe LtdThis was such an important kitchen for us to get absolutely right. Our client wanted to make the absolute most out the small space that they had.
Therefore, we proposed to gut the room completely and start by moving the plumbing and electrics around to get everything where it wanted to go.
We will then get the room fully plastered and the ceiling over-boarded with 3x new downlights.
The oven housing is a bespoke unit which is designed to sit on top of the worksurface and has a functional drawer below and extra storage above. We have scribed this up to the ceiling to make the kitchen easy to clean and give it the complete fitted appearance.
The gas meter is situated in the corner of the room which is why we opted for a 900 x 900 L-shaped corner unit to make access to this easier and it also pushed the sink base to the far RH side which keeps the sink and hob at a larger distance.
The hob is a domino gas hob which we will connect directly from the gas meter.
With the carcasses being "Natural Hamilton Oak" we have introduced some floating shelves in the same colour which also tie in with the LVT floor. These work far better than wall units as they open to room out and allows the window to offer more natural daylight.
Finally, to save our client money, we put a freestanding fridge/freezer in the alcove rather than an integrated. There is no right or wrong answer here but generally a freestanding appliance will be less expensive.
Lenton Company, Inc.The Craftsman's style inspiration derived from the Gamble House. The fireplace wall was decreased in size for an open-concept spacious grand room. The custom stained cabinetry graciously flows from the kitchen, laundry room, hall, and primary bathroom. Two new hutches were added to the dining room area for extra storage. The sizeable wet island serves as an entertaining hub. We spared no unused space to accommodate the families' needs. Two-tone quartz countertops provide a transitional design. The quartz white countertops serve as a grout-free backsplash.
Coffey & Co. House of InteriorsThis project is best described in one word: Fun – Oh wait, and bold! This homes mid-century modern construction style was inspiration that married nicely to our clients request to also have a home with a glamorous and lux vibe. We have a long history of working together and the couple was very open to concepts but she had one request: she loved blue, in any and all forms, and wanted it to be used liberally throughout the house. This new-to-them home was an original 1966 ranch in the Calvert area of Lincoln, Nebraska and was begging for a new and more open floor plan to accommodate large family gatherings. The house had been so loved at one time but was tired and showing her age and an allover change in lighting, flooring, moldings as well as development of a new and more open floor plan, lighting and furniture and space planning were on our agenda. This album is a progression room to room of the house and the changes we made. We hope you enjoy it! This was such a fun and rewarding project and In the end, our Musician husband and glamorous wife had their forever dream home nestled in the heart of the city.

J&J Carpet One Floor & HomeFor the countertops, she selected a light sand colored Quart Countertop in Cloud Nine from Pompeii Quartz. For the backsplash, a travertine and glass mosaic in Promise from Bedrosians was installed vertically and adds a subtle and classy pop of color.
Cabinet-S-TopIn this kitchen, Waypoint Living Spaces Maple Spice 650F cabinets with flat black hardware pulls were installed. The countertop is Wilsonart Xcaret 3cm Quartz with double roundover edge and 4” backsplash at the mail center cabinets. The backsplash is Jeffrey Court Slate fire and ice brick Mosaic. A Moen Align Spring single handle pull down spring faucet in Spot Resist Stainless and 18” brushed nickel towel bars and Ledge stainless steel sink with bottom sink grid, roll out grid, and bamboo cutting board. The flooring is a mixture of Permastone 16”x16” Indian Slate, Canyon and Verde flooring.

Castle Building & RemodelingThis beautiful St. Anthony, MN mid-century home needed some major updates to the kitchen and main bathroom. The original 1972 kitchen and bathroom were extremely dark and quirky – an old bidet in the bathroom and cooktop shoved into the corner of the kitchen made it difficult for the homeowners to cook and clean efficiently in both spaces. The remodel gave them the opportunity to create a new layout in each of the rooms – the kitchen was opened to the eat-in area, the cooktop was relocated for a better work triangle, and more counter space was added through a small island. Custom bench seats were added to the eat-in area for added storage and character to the kitchen. The bathroom was reconfigured to eliminate the old 70’s bidet, and a useless storage cabinet, which allowed us to add a large, walk in shower with bench and a separate soaking tub. The same cabinetry and earthy color palette was used in the bathroom to create cohesion and to emphasize the mid-century character of the home. What was created is much brighter, more functional and is a timeless yet new space for the homeowners to enjoy as they age in the home.
Old Town Design GroupThis custom floor plan features 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, with the primary suite on the main level. This model home also includes a large front porch, outdoor living off of the great room, and an upper level loft.

Grayling ConstructionThis home was built in 1975. The original owner/builders sold the home to one of their children. Before moving in, the daughter had us remodel the home. When the home was built in 1975, it was chopped up into smaller rooms on the main floor: dining, living, kitchen. We were able to remove the walls due to the roof framing. So now they have a great room concept that fit their lifestyle much more. This home is very welcoming to visitors and kids just home from school. The idea is to enjoy the fabulous view of the Chugach Mountains. We kept the original wood windows, which are so much higher quality than most vinyl windows sold today. We changed out the glass to safety laminated glass with low-e argon filled insulated units. The safety laminated glass made the house so much more quiet. Since we were able to save the wood windows, we put so much less into the landfill. This project is just under 1,000 sf.
