This beautiful home is used regularly by our Calgary clients during the weekends in the resort town of Fernie, B.C. While the floor plan offered ample space to entertain and relax, the finishes needed updating desperately. The original kitchen felt too small for the space which features stunning vaults and timber frame beams. With a complete overhaul, the newly redesigned space now gives justice to the impressive architecture. SOMETIMES, A CLASSIC DESIGN IS ALL YOU NEED FOR AN OPEN-PLAN SPACE THAT WORKS FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. This client wanted to extend their existing space to create an open plan kitchen where the whole family could spend time together. To meet this brief, we used the beautiful Shelford from our British kitchen range, with shaker doors in Inkwell Blue and Light Grey. The stunning kitchen island added the wow factor to this design, where the sink was located and also some beautiful oak shelving to house books and accessories. We used quartz composite worktops in Ice Branco throughout, Blanco sink and taps, and completed the space with AEG built-in and integrated appliances. We also created a functional utility room, which complemented the main kitchen design.

This once outdated kitchen now has a chic farm-house style. The new layout is perfect for a family who loves to cook.

This coastal home is located in Carlsbad, California! With some remodeling and vision this home was transformed into a peaceful retreat. The remodel features an open concept floor plan with the living room flowing into the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen is made gorgeous by its custom cabinetry with a flush mount ceiling vent. The dining room and living room are kept open and bright with a soft home furnishing for a modern beach home. The beams on ceiling in the family room and living room are an eye-catcher in a room that leads to a patio with canyon views and a stunning outdoor space!

This project was a double bay garage that we converted to a complete 1 bedroom 2 bathroom home with a very modern finish. We did a L shaped kitchen with 1 island, Quartz countertops with a vertical 1/3 offset stack backsplash with 4x16 white ceramic tile. Wood grain LVP flooring throughout. Spiral staircase. Full bath downstairs with a full bathroom upstairs as well where the master bedroom resides.

Early in the design process, we fell in love with an exotic Black Fusion quartzite slab with organic movement and subtle bands of color for the island. We used a 100-year-old beam with rough- hewn texture combined with the re-purposed pantry door to create the perfect blend of vintage + refinement for the easy livin’ style the clients enjoy. Ceiling lines were redefined to highlight the antique beam, finished out with custom iron strapping and hanging lanterns. Tired travertine was replaced with warm wood flooring. A rustic driftwood finish on the island cabinets and porcelain brick backsplash tile add to the subtle mix of textures at play in this refreshing renovation.

A cramped kitchen with exceptionally poor lighting just didn't fit the bill for these homeowners who enjoying food preservation and making their own adult beverages. The kitchen was gutted and the door from the garage was moved down the wall to provide sufficient space for the cooking zone.
