What was once the darkest area of the home has been transformed to a cheery and soothing hub. We painted the walls a frosty blue and installed grass cloth to high light the accent wall with a reflective quality. All lighting fixtures were updated and all new furniture with custom rugs were installed.

This Kitchen was designed with Natural Knotty Hickory cabinets, Red Indian ceramic tile, and lime stone counter tops. The island is a split level featuring a cook-top and bar that seats 7. Pin lights give this Kitchen a finishing touch.

This is the second of three separate home remodels San Luis Kitchen provided for this client. We went for a refined elegant style using Wood-Mode cabinetry in an inset doorstyle with a vintage white finish. The kitchen features a built-in refrigerator, a wide roll-out shelf pantry, wood hood, wine refrigerator with carved trim details, refrigerated drawers, rope moulding, and large stacked crown. Also note the island with abundant display storage and turned post details. A monochromatic decorating scheme was employed throughout. You can see a display with similar styling at San Luis Kitchen's showroom.

Custom shelving is 2" thick eastern pine with a natural edge cut from tree. Finished with a custom stain to enhance the natural grain of the wood and highlighted with driftwood colors to enrich complete driftwood theme throughout house. Soap stone counter tops with blue slate splashes enhance the hickory wood cabinets. The farm sink adds to the country home style living. LED pendant lights add character and function to this long island. Solid oak floors can be refinished a number of times. Faux beams hide the wires for the pendant lights. Open soffits with indirect lighting give the room a warm atmosphere. New kitchens require updated electrical. Essentially dedicated circuits for every appliance. 2- count top circuits. A dedicated microwave circuit regardless as to whether it is built in or not.
