A young couple makes this historic Montclair home there new dream home with plans to completely transform the kitchen foot print. They invited Signature Designs into help that new kitchen vision come to life. We of course removed the wall that was confining the kitchen space but we also decided to take out the kitchen door and relocate the kitchen window. By closing off the old kitchen window we were able to utilize that space for the cooktop and built in oven. This client wanted something playful for the tile so we decided upon this custom marble backsplash cut into half circles and multiple pastels. The backsplash ties the upper and lower cabinetry together perfectly. Even though there is a lot going on in this space the outcome is just spectacular. French country kitchen with light custom gray cabinetry. Because this is a smaller kitchen adding a few glass front cabinets really opens up the space. The same quartz was used on the walls and the floor but to add interest the walls were applied as slab and the floor is a smaller diamond shape. The countertops feature a a very light marble look quartz with light gray veining.

A rustic, brick-white-blue take on the farmhouse kitchen. Custom-cut brick backsplash, trendy blue island with a beautiful Cambria quartz countertop, and shaker cabinets combine with the dark hardwood floor and exposed beam to form a cozy and inviting ensemble.

A small compartmentalized kitchen in a 720sqft house was opened up to create a great room. The walls were reconfigured in the house to promote a better functioning layout. The ceiling was raised approximately 6". New LED lights were installed throughout and a chandelier was added in the dining area. The new L-shape kitchen opens to a bright living space thanks to new windows and doors installed on the south facing side of the home. Water-proof laminate was installed throughout.
