Clean, cool and calm are the three Cs that characterise a Scandi-style kitchen. The use of light wood and design that is uncluttered is what Scandinavians look for. Sleek and streamlined surfaces and efficient storage can be found in the Schmidt catalogue. The enhancement of light by using a Scandi style and colour. The Scandinavian style is inspired by the cool colours of landscapes, pale and natural colours, and adds texture to make the kitchen more sophisticated. This kitchen’s palette ranges from white, green and light wood to add texture, all bringing memories of a lovely and soft landscape. The light wood resembles the humble beauty of the 30s Scandinavian modernism. To maximise the storage, the kitchen has three tall larders with internal drawers for better organising and unclutter the kitchen. The floor-to-ceiling cabinets creates a sleek, uncluttered look, with clean and contemporary handle-free light wood cabinetry. To finalise the kitchen, the black appliances are then matched with the black stools for the island.

Single height counter top w/ dining room side SubZero Wine Cooler and liquor cabinets combined with buffet space and eating bar. Counter top height chairs. Post had to remain, requiring design around the post. Hood roof/ducting utilizing existing system required the new Range Top to be precisely located to align with hood and gas pipe coming up through the concrete floor. Résident à Paris, M. et Mme W., ont fait appel à l’agence Mathilde Design pour les accompagner sur leur projet de construction neuve sur Sainte-Luce-sur-Loire. Étant éloignés, ils ont souhaité travailler avec une agence qui est à proximité de leur nouveau domicile, et pour qui l’univers les avaient séduits. Ainsi, l’équipe est sur place pour la sélection des matériaux dans le showroom partenaire du promoteur et pour l’entreprise d’agencement local. Notre proposition En tenant compte du cahier des charges de M. et Mme W., l’agence à dessiner un projet associant fonctionnalité, convivialité et tendance en collaborant avec le promoteur et en améliorant les plans initiaux. - La première demande a été de redistribuer la suite parentale. Grâce à notre expertise, nous avons proposé un espace optimisé en multipliant par 2 l’espace de dressing. - L’entrée a connu également du changement : un bel espace banc/rangement, souligné par du papier peint sobre et élégant type tropical a pris sa place. - L’ensemble de la pièce de vie a été agencé et décoré afin de créer un environnement élégant, moderne et chaleureux. - Notre équipe d’agenceur a mis en œuvre un meuble TV sur mesure, une belle cuisine, deux claustras (cuisine et SDB), l’espace entrée et le dressing de la suite parentale. When the homeowners purchased their home, they knew they wanted to renovate their kitchen. We have done their previous kitchen, which helped aid in the remodeling process. To create more openness, we removed a half wall along with all soffits in the kitchen area. We kept things light and airy with off white shaker styled cabinets paired with a contrasting countertop and a lighter/beigy toned backsplash. The homeowners opted to keep their hardwood flooring. Due to the wall removal our carpenters were able to feather in pieces of it while making it appear as if had always been there.
