Despite its diamond-mullioned exterior, this stately home’s interior takes a more light-hearted approach to design. The Dove White inset cabinetry is classic, with recessed panel doors, a deep bevel inside profile and a matching hood. Streamlined brass cup pulls and knobs are timeless. Departing from the ubiquitous crown molding is a square top trim. The layout supplies plenty of function: a paneled refrigerator; prep sink on the island; built-in microwave and second oven; built-in coffee maker; and a paneled wine refrigerator. Contrast is provided by the countertops and backsplash: honed black Jet Mist granite on the perimeter and a statement-making island top of exuberantly-patterned Arabescato Corchia Italian marble. Flooring pays homage to terrazzo floors popular in the 70’s: “Geotzzo” tiles of inlaid gray and Bianco Dolomite marble. Field tiles in the breakfast area and cooking zone perimeter are a mix of small chips; feature tiles under the island have modern rectangular Bianco Dolomite shapes. Enameled metal pendants and maple stools and dining chairs add a mid-century Scandinavian touch. The turquoise on the table base is a delightful surprise. An adjacent pantry has tall storage, cozy window seats, a playful petal table, colorful upholstered ottomans and a whimsical “balloon animal” stool.

本計画は名古屋市の歴史ある閑静な住宅街にあるマンションのリノベーションのプロジェクトで、夫婦と子ども一人の3人家族のための住宅である。設計時の要望は大きく２つあり、ダイニングとキッチンが豊かでゆとりある空間にしたいということと、物は基本的には表に見せたくないということであった。インテリアの基本構成は床をオーク無垢材のフローリング、壁・天井は塗装仕上げとし、その壁の随所に床から天井までいっぱいのオーク無垢材の小幅板が現れる。LDKのある主室は黒いタイルの床に、壁・天井は寒水入りの漆喰塗り、出入口や家具扉のある長手一面をオーク無垢材が7m以上連続する壁とし、キッチン側の壁はワークトップに合わせて御影石としており、各面に異素材が対峙する。洗面室、浴室は壁床をモノトーンの磁器質タイルで統一し、ミニマルで洗練されたイメージとしている。

As seen on the revisited edition of George Clarke's Restoration Man, screened on Channel 4 on the 12th of March. This was part of the stunning re-development of the Water Tower in Pannal, near Harrogate. The kitchen design is a U shape with a peninsular based around the main well which sits central to the kitchen. The well was cleaned out and lit up with a toughened piece of glass covering it, a real feature piece. A la découverte de cet appartement la contrainte était évidente il n'y avait pas d'espace pour la cuisine. Certes il y avait une belle entrée, une belle lumière aussi celle de la mer. Mais en vacances prendre le temps de cuisiner avec en plus tous nos bons produits locaux, il fallait donc commencer par faire de la place pour cette cuisine. Donc priorité au décloisonnement, le mur de l'entrée est tombé par terre. Et une belle cuisine a été implantée, avec ses meubles en effet béton grisé, et son granit noir. Mais à l'origine dans l’entrée il y avait deux couchages donc il fallait les recréer tout en gardant un bel espace de circulation dans cet appartement. Donc nous avons créé un petit canapé très cosy avec un tiroir magique où se cache un autre lit. Et en miroir un autre canapé, lui vous offrira la belle surprise d’avoir un couchage de 1m60, avec un matelas à mémoire de forme, de quoi passer des nuits à rêver. Ensuite il fallait lui apporter du charme quoi de mieux que la couleur pour faire vivre l’espace, un joli Céladon, un bleu vert ou un vert bleu comme vous préférez. Et deux jolies consoles et tables basses en métal de la même couleur céladon et pour souligner délicatement des jolis rideaux.

La cocina se montó con muebles de melamina en combinación de blanco y gris, con un estante en madera color negro. La encimera es de granito en tonos grises; los tirados color negro para una apertura más cómoda de los cajones y los electrodomésticos sin panelar para conseguir el look industrial de este espacio. La cocina a su vez está iluminada con perfil led tanto en techo como bañando el aplacado de granito. El suelo de la cocina es gres porcelánico rectificado. El fregadero lo escogimos del material Silgranit para que pueda ser en color gris piedra y quede más integrado en la encimera, también posee escurridor incorporado para aprovechar la esquina de la cocina. Esta cocina tiene un plus que es la barra para desayunar, para diferenciar y darle un aspecto especial a esta zona se escogió un granito negro envejecido que forma parte del salón también. La cocina es cerrada para evitar los olores en el salón pero con una mampara de vidrio, de manera que se mantiene la continuidad de los espacios y permite el ingreso de luz.

VERDUN - Optimisation de l'espace d'un appartement de 32 m² à Clamart

Vous avez déjà acheté sur plan? C'est comme faire une dégustation à l'aveugle. Vous savez que vous avez mangé/acheté quelque chose, mais vous ne savez pas très bien quoi. Alors le jour de la remise des clés, le fait de voir l'appartement complètement vide peut être vraiment déstabilisant. C'est dans ce contexte que notre client a fait appel à nous pour aménager, meubler et décorer son appartement de 32m² à Clamart (92140). Il fallait rapidement aménager cet appartement mais surtout en optimiser les rangements. Pour que la cuisine n'empiète pas trop sur la partie salon mais qu'elle ait tout de même une taille satisfaisante, nous avons décidé de la faire en U plutôt qu'en L. Le plan cuisson fait donc face au plan lavage et a été installé dans le prolongement des placards d'entrée. Les colonnes frigo + four, quant à elles, ont naturellement pris place dans le renfoncement prévu à cet effet par le promoteur immobilier. Comme le plan cuisson n'est pas adossé à un mur, nous avons opté pour une plaque de cuisson avec hotte aspirante intégrée plutôt que de devoir poser une hotte au plafond en plein milieu du couloir d'entrée.

キッチンは美味しい食事を作るためには欠かせないスペース。毎日使う場所だからこそ、機能性だけではなくおしゃれさにもこだわりたいものです。ここでは、使い勝手の良さやおしゃれさにこだわったキッチンのリフォーム事例と、キッチンリフォームのポイントをご紹介します。

キッチンの改善ポイントを考える

まずは、現在使用しているキッチンを見直してみましょう。調理するスペースが狭い、高さが自分の身長に合っていない、収納スペースが少ないなど、キッチンによってさまざまな改善ポイントが見つかるはずです。こうした改善ポイントをもとに、キッチンのリフォームを検討しましょう。

動線や広さ、レイアウトの見直し

キッチンスペースは人の動きに合わせてレイアウトすることが重要です。動線を意識して、広さやレイアウトを見直しましょう。広さの目安として、キッチン空間を2～3歩で行き来できるのが良いといわれています。狭すぎず広すぎず、キッチンの通路幅は0.9～1.2m程度に収めると良いでしょう。また、冷蔵庫とシンク、コンロを結ぶ三角形の動線（ワークトライアングル）が正三角形に近いほど、作業効率が良いとされています。3辺の合計が3.6～6.6mに収まるように配置すると、効率良く動ける程よい広さとなるでしょう。次にキッチンデザインとレイアウトを特徴別に確認してみましょう。1人で料理をするのか複数人で料理をするのかなど、さまざまなシーンで使い勝手の良いレイアウトを検討してみてください。現在では以下5つのレイアウトが一般的です。

Ⅰ型キッチン
Ⅰ型キッチンは最も一般的なレイアウトで、シンク、調理台、コンロ、冷蔵庫が横一線に並んだタイプのキッチンです。最近では、対面カウンターを付けて背面に収納スペースと冷蔵庫を置くなど、Ⅱ型やアイランド型に似たタイプのレイアウトも人気です。
Ⅱ型キッチン
Ⅱ型キッチンはシンク、調理台、コンロ、冷蔵庫を2カ所に分け、平行に配置することで調理スペースを広げるレイアウトです。調理の際の動線が短くなるというメリットがあります。
L型キッチン
L型キッチンは、シンク、調理台、コンロがL字型に配置されたレイアウトです。ワークトライアングルを作りやすく、動線をコンパクトに抑えることができます。
アイランドキッチン
アイランドキッチンは独立型キッチンとも呼ばれ、シンク、調理台などを壁面から独立させて設置するレイアウトです。調理台を囲むように作業ができるため、家族や友人など複数で楽しみながらキッチンを共有できます。ホームパーティーや料理教室をする際にも便利でしょう。
ペニンシュラキッチン
ペニンシュラは英語で「半島」を意味します。キッチンの左右どちらかが壁に接しているレイアウトを指します。調理スペースがオープンになっているため、リビングやダイニングにいる方とコミュニケーションを取りながら調理できるというメリットがあります。

ビルトイン機器の選択

キッチンタイプのレイアウト見直しと同時に、ビルトイン機器も検討されてみてはいかがでしょうか。ビルトイン機器とは、建物や家具、設備などの中に組み込んで利用する機器を指します。システムキッチンには、ビルトインコンロ、レンジフード、オーブンレンジ、食器洗浄乾燥機を組み込むことが可能です。ビルトインであればスタイリッシュにキッチンに溶け込み、インテリアの邪魔にもなりません。新築やリフォームの際に取り入れることをおすすめします。

ビルトインコンロ
ビルトインコンロには、それぞれ火力の異なるバーナーを組み合わせた3つ口タイプが一般的です。天板素材はガラストップが主流となっていますが、他にガラスコート、フッ素コート、ホーロー、アルミ、ステンレスなどがあります。使い勝手やデザイン、価格などを考慮して選択しましょう。
食器洗浄乾燥機
食器洗浄乾燥機 (食洗機) は手洗いよりも少ない水量できれいに食器を洗浄することができるため、新築やキッチンのリフォーム時には食洗機の導入をおすすめします。国内製のビルトイン食洗機の場合は引き出し式になっているタイプが多いのに対し、海外製のビルトイン食洗機は前開き式になっているものが一般的です。国内製・海外製それぞれで、設置業者や設置可能なシステムキッチンが異なる場合があるため注意しましょう。

収納スペースのアイデア

いかにデッドスペースを活かすかがキッチン収納のコツです。％Topicの収納は限られているため、多くの食器や調理器具、調味料などを片付けるための工夫が必要です。ビルトイン機器も限られたスペースできれいに収納する工夫のひとつといえるでしょう。システムキッチンの収納スペース以外のキッチン収納スペースとしては、床下収納が代表的です。床下の他に、壁面収納なども人気です。壁面収納の場合、食器や調理器具だけでなくキッチン家電までも収納し、スタイリッシュで生活感の出ないキッチンを演出することもできるでしょう。
