A young family moving from NYC tackled a lightning fast makeover of their new colonial revival home before the arrival of their second child. The kitchen area was quite spacious but needed a facelift and new layout. Painted cabinetry matched to Benjamin Moore’s Light Pewter is balanced by grey glazed rift oak cabinetry on the island. Shiplap paneling on the island and cabinet lend a slightly contemporary edge. White bronze hardware by Schaub & Co. in a contemporary bar shape offer clean lines with some texture in a warm metallic tone. White Marble countertops in “Alpine Mist” create a harmonious color palette while the pale blue/grey Waterworks backsplash adds a touch of color. Blue glossy subway tile contrasts white cabinets with chrome cabinet hardware. A honed quartz counter with simple pencil edge creates the look of concrete with the durabilty of quartz. Metal base swivel stools with vinyl upholstery soften the space without any worry about spills from the kids. Luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring with a wood look was used to provide continuity in the open floorplan. A simple recessed ceiling detail designates the kitchen. The wall of recessed appliances anchors the space leaving an uninterrupted tile backsplash.

In this kitchen remodel Waypoint White Thermofoil T02S door style cabinetry was installed accented with Amerock 96mm Gunmetal Modern Pulls. Black Pearl 3cm granite countertops with double roundover small ogee edge full bullnose was installed on the countertop. For the backsplash, 3x6 Periwinkle Bright Tile with Bliss Waterfall Blend Linear Glass Stone Mosaic accent was installed.

A modern update to this condo built in 1966 with a gorgeous view of Emigration Canyon in Salt Lake City. Concrete structural columns and walls were an obstacle to incorporate into the design. White conversion varnish finish on maple raised panel doors. Counter top is Blue Flowers granite with mitered edge. Walnut floating shelves with recessed led lighting.

Farmhouse style kitchen with "todays" features such as upscale appliances, pot filler, undercabinet lighting, and LED lighting. Also has re-purposed, modified antique brass island.

Nestled in the countryside and designed to accommodate a multi-generational family, this custom compound boasts a nearly 5,000 square foot main residence, an infinity pool with luscious landscaping, a guest and pool house as well as a pole barn. The spacious, yet cozy flow of the main residence fits perfectly with the farmhouse style exterior. The gourmet kitchen with separate bakery kitchen offers built-in banquette seating for casual dining and is open to a cozy dining room for more formal meals enjoyed in front of the wood-burning fireplace. Completing the main level is a library, mudroom and living room with rustic accents throughout. The upper level features a grand master suite, a guest bedroom with dressing room, a laundry room as well as a sizable home office. The lower level has a fireside sitting room that opens to the media and exercise rooms by custom-built sliding barn doors. During office appointments we display clients kitchens on a flat screen TV and help them look through 100’s of sample doorstyles, almost a thousand sample finish blocks and sample kitchen cabinets. During home visits we can bring samples, take measurements, and make design changes on laptops showing you what your kitchen can look like in the very room being renovated. This is more convenient for our customers and it eliminates the expense of staffing and maintaining a larger space that is open to walk in traffic. We pass the significant savings on to our customers and so we sell cabinetry for less than other dealers, even home centers like Lowes and The Home Depot. We believe that since a web site like Houzz.com has over half a million kitchen photos, any advantage to going to a full kitchen showroom with full kitchen displays has been lost.
