An expert in family-centered design, Kelly Rogers works with her clients to create kid and pet (and adult!) friendly homes with decidedly "grown-up" style. She specializes in designing mid-range to high-end spaces that are polished, yet comfortable, colorful, yet serene, and beautiful, yet durable. Now you don't have to wait until you're an empty nester to live in a home you truly love! Kelly's signature style ranges from traditional to transitional, and incorporates classical design motifs, global influences, fresh color, and unique pattern combinations. She eschews formulaic approaches to create truly original interior spaces with equal parts elegance, simplicity, and practicality. In addition to understanding the needs of busy families, Kelly also brings a business-like approach (with a healthy dose of humor!) to her work. She previously spent 11 years at advertising and digital marketing agencies in account management, working with Fortune 500 clients in a variety of industries. There, she developed her client-driven philosophy, creative vision, project management expertise, and attention to detail. Although she loved working in a creative business, after the birth of her first son, Kelly knew she did not want to return to agency life. But she wasn't ready to 'retire' just yet, either. A family member provided unexpected inspiration for a new career. She moved into a beautiful new home, but had delayed furnishing and decorating until her children were older. A new mom herself, Kelly could relate, and was sure that many other families did, too. When she asked Kelly if she ever considered pursuing interior design, the idea for Kelly Rogers Interiors was born. A certified architectural color consultant, and candidate for a certificate in Residential Interiors at the Boston Architectural College, Kelly is the author of the design blog Interiors for Families. She is an active member of IFDA and NKBA, and her work has been seen in The Boston Globe, Houzz, Wayfair.com, and several blogs and digital publications. Kelly attended Williams College, where she earned her BA in art history and American studies. Kelly lives in Newton, Massachusetts with her husband, two sons, and their mischevious and adorable lemon beagle.

We asked her to work with us. We signed paperwork and contracts. We waited 3 months. She came and took measurements and then never returned. She suggested several times to return and show us her work, but never returned. She has not responded to email or telephone calls. It has been radio silence. If she is going through a family crisis , then accept our apologies. If she has decided to drop us for a more lucrative contract then you should all be aware of this.

I have worked with her on multiple projects- major kitchen renovation and complete room overhauls in my living, dining, family rooms, office and powder room. We do love her designs- our rooms are amazing! However, our latest project has been complete frustration. We have paid in full for the items months (June 2020) ago and they are still not delivered. There has been a lack of communication on their status and I suggest not paying in full until all items are delivered.

We were very disappointed with Kelly. The whole order that was paid for was not delivered- she owes us money or the remainder of the order (and will not respond back). In our experience she was completely non responsive during the process and does not complete the designs. Her designs are amazing but I have never received such poor customer service. Additionally I have never used a designer that does not deliver items that were paid for. We will not use Kelly again and have used several other designers that have great designs and deliver on work and our responsive.

I am very sorry that you were unhappy with the resolution we had reached on this issue earlier this week that we would deliver the outstanding items (a pair of custom pillows, which had been fabricated incorrectly the first time around) within two weeks, and at our own expense. We have not yet billed the balance on the entire order because it was not yet completed, so I just wanted to clarify that you are not owed money, only either a credit for, or the actual goods ordered (and we agreed on the latter). I understand your frustration and am sorry for your disappointment, and I hope you will enjoy the pillows.

Kelly took on the task of helping us choose paint colors for almost our entire home. She was very professional and also very warm and approachable. Her knowledge of color was evident in her careful and creative selection of paint colors which she tied together to give us a beautiful cohesive flow. Couldn’t be happier with the end result. Will definitely reach out to her for other projects.

Working with Kelly has been such a gift. We redecorated 2 rooms (dining room and living room) in our house, and Kelly helped me to figure out and articulate exactly what we were looking for. Once we did, she presented us with choices that always met our criteria (kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and a balance between slightly more formal and yet extremely welcoming and comfortable) without ever exceeding our budget. She made the entire process so easy, and we love the results. We already know our next project with her...Thank you, Kelly!

Kelly saved us during a new construction build. We were chugging along without the help of a designer until I hit a wall. I had some specific design goals for the kitchen, which my architect wasn't able to pull together the way I had hoped. Kelly joined the team and worked really hard, at a busy time of year, to design our kitchen. It came out beautifully!!! She did such a wonderful job on the kitchen we've enlisted her help for most of the rest of the house. Kelly sees color in a really amazing way and selected beautiful looks for each room of our home. She can blend and play with varying styles to achieve your own style, not just hers. Kelly is approachable, practical, and decisive. She is great to work with!!

Working with Kelly has been an absolute pleasure. We were in need of updating our formal living room to make it more inviting for adult entertaining while keeping it family friendly. Kelly also helped tie in our foyer and connecting dinning room with the new color scheme and we now use the rooms quite often. The process was so smooth and enjoyable we brought Kelly back to help renovate our dark and dreary powder room. It’s so light and bright now that we can’t believe it’s the same space. My husband and I are already dreaming up our next project for her.

We worked with Kelly during the 'face lift' of our South End Boston brownstone. We were drawn to her portfolio, but once we met her we knew it would be a great match. We have two small children and her suggestions have been family friendly without losing the elegance we were aiming for in decorating our home. She has also been invaluable when working with our contractors to help pick construction materials, paint colors, and the design of our kitchen. I have no reservations in recommending Kelly to anyone renovating their home!

Kelly did an excellent job with our bedroom. It looks absolutely wonderful, better than we could have imagined. Her creativity with colors, decorations and style were amazing. She was easy to work with and helped coordinate all the logistics for ordering and setup efficiently. Everything was completed in a timely manner and she even had everything set up and organized for us when were coming home with our newborn! We enjoyed working with her and love the outcome!

Kelly was wonderful to work with. She listened to our goals and transformed our family room from a dark, ordinary space to a light, updated, comfortable, family friendly and stylish room. She was very cognizant of texture and color and designed our room to enhance the existing features, like our windows and fireplace. Kelly worked with a tight time frame and installed our new family room/dinette space in just over 3 months, which was pretty remarkable. The space still looks like our style, but much more polished and finished. I can't wait to move onto my next project with Kelly, our master bedroom.

It was a pleasure to work with Kelly, who helped us to redecorate two rooms and provided a beautiful color plan for our entire house. She was professional, creative, and flexible - I felt like she "got" what I was looking for but was able to pull things together in a way I never could have. She was willing to go through multiple iterations of designs to get things just right, and stayed within our budget. Now that our project is drawing to a close, I know I'm going to miss seeing her and collaborating with her
