The homeowners, an eclectic and quirky couple, wanted to renovate their kitchen for functional reasons: the old floors, counters, etc, were dirty, ugly, and not usable; lighting was giant fluorescents, etc. While they wanted to modernize, they also wanted to retain a fun and retro vibe. So we modernized with functional new materials: quartz counters, porcelain tile floors. But by using bold, bright colors and mixing a few fun patterns, we kept it fun. Retro-style chairs, table, and lighting completed the look.

This “Blue for You” kitchen is truly a cook’s kitchen with its 48” Wolf dual fuel range, steamer oven, ample 48” built-in refrigeration and drawer microwave. The 11-foot-high ceiling features a 12” lighted tray with crown molding. The 9’-6” high cabinetry, together with a 6” high crown finish neatly to the underside of the tray. The upper wall cabinets are 5-feet high x 13” deep, offering ample storage in this 324 square foot kitchen. The custom cabinetry painted the color of Benjamin Moore’s “Jamestown Blue” (HC-148) on the perimeter and “Hamilton Blue” (HC-191) on the island and Butler’s Pantry. The main sink is a cast iron Kohler farm sink, with a Kohler cast iron under mount prep sink in the (100” x 42”) island. While this kitchen features much storage with many cabinetry features, it’s complemented by the adjoining butler’s pantry that services the formal dining room. This room boasts 36 lineal feet of cabinetry with over 71 square feet of counter space. Not outdone by the kitchen, this pantry also features a farm sink, dishwasher, and under counter wine refrigeration.

Custom Kitchen. Custom made cabinets painted in white and the island in a Tiffany blue. Decorative hardware. Glass matte tile in a live edge pattern. Custom decorative glass. Leather barstools. New lighting. Custom nickel bar sink, and bar faucet. Cooktop and hood. This kitchen was a full overhaul to make it light and bright.

The layout of the new kitchen has added more space for movement around the kitchen and the added cabinetry was super beneficial for extra storage. With a larger island and sitting area, quick meals and family gatherings are possible.

Client is a young professional who wanted to brighten her kitchen and make unique elements that reflects her style. KTID replaced side cabinets with reclaimed wood shelves. Crystal knobs replace Dry Bar Drawer pulls.. KTID suggested lowering the bar height counter, creating a rustic vs elegant style using reclaimed wood, glass backsplash and quartz waterfall countertop. KTID changed paint color to a darker shade of blue. The pantry was enlarged by removing the wall between the pantry and the refrigerator and putting in a pantry cabinet with roll-out shelves.

Кухня - не смотря на свою компактную форму включает в себя всю необходимую бытовую технику - холодильник, духовой шкаф, кофемашину, посудомоечную машину и даже встроенный телевизор. От стандартного мини-стола решили отказаться и сделали полубарный островок, интегрированный с подоконником. По словам клиентов в жизни это оказалось намного удобнее, ведь вся поверхность острова всегда чем -либо задействована, да и сами посиделки на высоких стульях очень комфортны. Из кухни просматривается лоджия с высокими витражными окнами, поэтому обойти ее стороной было бы ошибочно. Там разместился уютный топчан, а открывающийся из окон вид на речную пойму располагает к отдыху.
