The shotgun house came into style when owners were taxed by the city for the width of their homes. It's also said that you can shoot a shotgun from the front door to the back, which is where they style derived it's name. In keeping with the historic design, the original heart-pine floors were saved and the double glass doors, which Sarah found in a local architectural salvage shop were added. The glass doors continue the open feeling into the office, which doubles as a guest room.

In this kitchen remodel Waypoint White Thermofoil T02S door style cabinetry was installed accented with Amerock 96mm Gunmetal Modern Pulls. Black Pearl 3cm granite countertops with double roundover small ogee edge full bullnose was installed on the countertop. For the backsplash, 3x6 Periwinkle Bright Tile with Bliss Waterfall Blend Linear Glass Stone Mosaic accent was installed.

An adorable but worn down beach bungalow gets a complete remodel and an added roof top deck for ocean views. The design cues for this home started with a love for the beach and a Vetrazzo counter top! Vintage appliances, pops of color, and geometric shapes drive the design and add interest. A comfortable and laid back vibe create a perfect family room. Several built-ins were designed for much needed added storage. A large roof top deck was engineered and added several square feet of living space. A metal spiral staircase and railing system were custom built for the deck. Ocean views and tropical breezes make this home a fabulous beach bungalow.

Our clients found that the kitchen layout didn’t function well and that the storage space was lacking. We opened up the space by removing a small wall separating the dining room and kitchen and then adding a support beam. The chimney was exposed on all sides, adding warmth and character. Moving the refrigerator and adding the peninsula allowed for more countertop work space. The microwave was taken off the counter and hidden in the peninsula, along with added cabinets. Combined with a tall pantry the kitchen now has more storage. A new ceiling allowed for pot lights and two new pendants over the counter, making the once gloomy kitchen now bright.

A deux pas du canal de l’Ourq dans le XIXè arrondissement de Paris, cet appartement était bien loin d’en être un. Surface vétuste et humide, corroborée par des problématiques structurelles importantes, le local ne présentait initialement aucun atout. Ce fut sans compter sur la faculté de projection des nouveaux acquéreurs et d’un travail important en amont du bureau d’étude Védia Ingéniérie, que cet appartement de 27m2 a pu se révéler. Les surfaces en cannage se mêlent au travertin naturel, essences de chêne et zelliges aux nuances sables, pour un ensemble tout en douceur et caractère. Un projet clé en main pour cet appartement fonctionnel et décontracté destiné à la location.
