A well functioning modern kitchen that compliments the architectural design of the house, as well as incorporating natural timbers into the design that flow into other design elements throughout the house. KITCHEN SPECIFICATIONS: Carcass, Prime Panels 18mm gloss white melamine with 1mm pvc edging. Cabinetry Finishes, Prime Panels 19mm USA White Oak Art planked veneer with a satin clear lacquer finish. Elite Hardware Overlay Pull handles. Benchtops, Caesarstone Forsty Carrina, 30mm to back bench and pantry with 60mm mitred finish on island. Cabro Gino-660L sink stainless steel sink insert. A fantastic image showing the impressive amount of storage each cabinet holds. The draw in Draw technology allows the designer to show only TWO draw fronts, however the draws have additional internal draws concealed inside. EVERY movable component is soft close, including draws, cupboards and pantries - creating a quiet and durable kitchen space. This kitchen recently took top spot in the NZ German kitchen awards for best renovation! Every aspect of the room was overhauled, and the finished product is stunning (see "before:124097" picture).. Key features: The island offers a huge amount of storage, with impressive 1200mm wide draws on the rear of the island, and draws on the inside. The large stone and large single bowl allows the island to entertain for large groups, and creates a functional and practical work space. The over head cupboards are bi folding, and a full height pull out pantry provide even more storage. A custome made 1200mm wide Ilve oven further enhances the unique deign of the kitchen, and represents the clients true love for cooking an entertaining! The kitchen has been designed with a the Nobilia seamless handles, and provides a very linear and minimalist visual, which complement the stunning timber ceiling and tiles floor.

You’ll always be on holidays here! Designed for a couple nearing retirement and completed in 2019 by Quine Building, this modern beach house truly embraces holiday living. Capturing views of the escarpment and the ocean, this home seizes the essence of summer living. In a highly exposed street, maintaining privacy while inviting the unmistakable vistas into each space was achieved through carefully placed windows and outdoor living areas. By positioning living areas upstairs, the views are introduced into each space and remain uninterrupted and undisturbed. The separation of living spaces to bedrooms flows seamlessly with the slope of the site creating a retreat for family members. An epitome of seaside living, the attention to detail exhibited by the build is second only to the serenity of it’s location.

This contemporary kitchen was to blend with the aesthetic of the open plan living and dining room. Clean lines and a handle less oven wall were requested with custom storage solutions. Manufactured in soft touch melamine in charcoal with white engineered stone benchtops this kitchen is timeless in its appeal and is a highly functional kitchen space.

This project is new construction located in Hinsdale, Illinois. The scope included the kitchen, butler’s pantry, and mudroom. The clients are on the verge of being empty nesters and so they decided to right size. They came from a far more traditional home, and they were open to things outside of their comfort zone. O’Brien Harris Cabinetry in Chicago (OBH) collaborated on the project with the design team but especially with the builder from J. Jordan Homes. The architecture of this home is interesting and defined by large floor to ceiling windows. This created a challenge in the kitchen finding wall space for large appliances. “In essence we only had one wall and so we chose to orient the cooking on that wall. That single wall is defined on the left by a window and on the right by the mudroom. That left us with another challenge – where to place the ovens and refrigerator. We then created a vertically clad wall disguising appliances which floats in between the kitchen and dining room”, says Laura O’Brien. The room is defined by interior transom windows and a peninsula was created between the kitchen and the casual dining for separation but also for added storage. To keep it light and open a transparent brass and glass shelving was designed for dishes and glassware located above the peninsula. The butler’s pantry is located behind the kitchen and between the dining room and a lg exterior window to front of the home. Its main function is to house additional appliances. This stylish kitchen and walk-in pantry sit within a beautiful Federation home built in 1912 in Melbourne's leafy east. The homeowner's had a great vision for this space and some structural work, removing walls and moving doorways, was required to modernised the home's footprint to suit today's living. This kitchen while very contemporary sits in harmony with the period features of the home such as the ornate cornices, archways and brickwork. We love the striking monochromatic colour scheme of black and white and the touches of glamour that elevate this space like the Qasair rangehoods, Sub-Zero Wolf appliances and the beautiful marble benchtops.
