A design-led, contemporary side return kitchen extension with clean lines and a minimalistic aesthetic. The Unique choice of kitchen is bespoke and made from European birch plywood and finished with an oak hardwood veneer. Architectural Glazing on the rear façade has filled the space with natural light and connected it better to the garden. The Crittall-style door set is both edgy and versatile, with its slim profile frame providing the most sought after industrial look. This has been perfectly complimented by a bespoke floor to ceiling fixed pane of glass in the side return which allows the client to enjoy the uninterrupted views of the garden.

This is actually a room for to process the fruit and nuts picked on the ranch- not really a kitchen! Rustic custom made and handscraped alder cabinets. Stained medium brown with a dark glaze coat. Kohler sink sets into one solid, thick piece of sycamore slab wood counter. This was custom made by a local craftsman. Random stone slate floor, handpainted glazed tile backsplash with metal tile inserts. This rustic working walnut ranch in the mountains features natural wood beams, real stone fireplaces with wrought iron screen doors, antiques made into furniture pieces, and a tree trunk bed. All wrought iron lighting, hand scraped wood cabinets, exposed trusses and wood ceilings give this ranch house a warm, comfortable feel. The powder room shows a wrap around mosaic wainscot of local wildflowers in marble mosaics, the master bath has natural reed and heron tile, reflecting the outdoors right out the windows of this beautiful craftman type home. The kitchen is designed around a custom hand hammered copper hood, and the family room's large TV is hidden behind a roll up painting. Since this is a working farm, their is a fruit room, a small kitchen especially for cleaning the fruit, with an extra thick piece of eucalyptus for the counter top. Builder: Boone Construction Photographer: M-Buck Studio This lakefront farmhouse skillfully fits four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms in this carefully planned open plan. The symmetrical front façade sets the tone by contrasting the earthy textures of shake and stone with a collection of crisp white trim that run throughout the home. Wrapping around the rear of this cottage is an expansive covered porch designed for entertaining and enjoying shaded Summer breezes. A pair of sliding doors allow the interior entertaining spaces to open up on the covered porch for a seamless indoor to outdoor transition. The openness of this compact plan still manages to provide plenty of storage in the form of a separate butlers pantry off from the kitchen, and a lakeside mudroom. The living room is centrally located and connects the master quite to the home’s common spaces. The master suite is given spectacular vistas on three sides with direct access to the rear patio and features two separate closets and a private spa style bath to create a luxurious master suite. Upstairs, you will find three additional bedrooms, one of which a private bath. The other two bedrooms share a bath that thoughtfully provides privacy between the shower and vanity.

Designing with a pop of color was the main goal for this space. This second kitchen is adjacent to the main kitchen so it was important that the design stayed cohesive but also felt like it's own space. The walls are tiled in a 4x4 white porcelain tile. An office area is integrated into the space to give the client the option of a smaller office space near the kitchen. Colorful floral wallpaper covers the ceiling and creates a playful scene. An orange office chair pairs perfectly with the wallpapered ceiling. Dark colored cabinetry sits against white tile and white quartz countertops.

The gorgeous wet bar’s highlight is the imported Italian antique mirror tile backsplash. It has plenty of room for overflow storage in the beverage fridge, shelves for glassware and wine along with a concealed everyday coffee bar. The pocket doors installed at the lower half of the wall cabinets allow for easy access to a coffee system but also keeps supplies hidden with ease.
