Le défi de cette maison de 180 m² était de la moderniser et de la rendre plus fonctionnelle pour la vie de cette famille nombreuse. Au rez-de chaussée, nous avons réaménagé l’espace pour créer des toilettes et un dressing avec rangements. La cuisine a été entièrement repensée pour pouvoir accueillir 8 personnes. Le palier du 1er étage accueille désormais une grande bibliothèque sur mesure. La rénovation s’inscrit dans des tons naturels et clairs, notamment avec du bois brut, des teintes vert d’eau, et un superbe papier peint panoramique dans la chambre parentale. Un projet de taille qu’on adore !

The renovation of this classic Wimbledon townhouse was the perfect opportunity to update an existing Bang and Olufsen audio system. In the Kitchen we installed B&O ceiling speakers with an in-wall subwoofer. What these speakers may lack in discretion they make up for in design, looking sleek and stylish, perfectly in keeping with the style of the house.

Diese offene Küche bereicherten wir um eine Theke als bequemen Sitzplatz für einen genüsslichen Kaffee und das Gespräch zwischen den Anwesenden. Viele Schubladen bieten reichlich Stauraum, selbst der tote Winkel unter der Theke ist als Schrank von der Wohnzimmerseite aus zu nutzen. Die warme, geölte Holzarbeitsplatte kontrastiert harmonisch mit der glatten, glänzenden Front. Thematisch achteten wir darauf, dass die Theke punktgenau auf die Fuge zwischen Holzparkett und Schieferboden trifft, um den Übergang vom Wohn- zum Küchenbereich zu unterstreichen. Passend dazu verlängerten wir mit einfachen Mitteln die rechte Seitenwand, die so die Hochschrankzeile bis zu ihrem Sockel geschickt verbirgt. Mit diesen Stilmitteln erscheinen nun beide Räume eigenständig und sind doch untrennbar miteinander verbunden.

Contemporary German Kitchen in Horsham, West Sussex A rethink of this Horsham kitchen helped create a new functional island space, new kitchen entrance and matching utility. The Brief This client sought to make changes to their previous kitchen involving a rethink of their kitchen island, in addition to an all-round modernisation. From early project conversations it was clear that well organised storage was key, as well as including plenty of worktop space. As part of the project, creating a new doorway into the kitchen was also required, as well as an in keeping renovation of a utility space. Design Elements Designer Alistair has utilised a layout not dissimilar from the previous kitchen, instead replacing stand-alone island with a peninsula island space connected to the kitchen. This minor layout change helped to incorporate the vast worktop space this client required, as well as the social island area that the client desired. A subtle two-tone theme was another wish of the client, with glossy handleless finishes Satin Grey and Slate Grey contributing to the contemporary aesthetic of this space. The design is accompanied by plenty of lighting options to add a further modern feel, including undercabinet downlights, ceiling downlights and plinth lighting. Behind the hob a glass splashback has been included which has been chosen in a black shimmer finish, complimenting the overall design as well as the white quartz work surfaces, named Snowy Ibiza. Special Inclusions The client was keen to keep the kitchen area feeling light and spacious, and so another key part of the design was the use of full-height cabinetry to house the majority of appliances. Here a number of Neff appliances feature, including a Slide & Hide oven, combination oven, warming drawer, refrigerator and freezer which have both been integrated behind furniture. A Neff hob has been placed just to the side, above which a built-in Neff extractor is integrated to remove any cooking odours. Opposite, a Quooker boiling water tap has been installed above a Blanco quartz composed sink which ties in nicely with the chosen work surface. Looking towards the utility area, sideboard style furniture has been included as a space to store small appliances that are used daily, as well as cupboard space for added extra storage. Here you can also see the new doorway into the kitchen, which leads from the hallway of this property. Project Highlight A matching utility upgrade was a key part of this project, and designer Alistair was tasked with integrating extra storage, laundry appliances, plus a small sink area. This area makes use of Satin Grey furniture and a laminate work surface option. Beneath the work surface you might also spot a bed area for this client’s pooch. The End Result For this project designer Alistair has created a clever design to achieve all the elements of this project brief, including an important island change and a matching utility. While renovating their home located on a horse farm in Bedford, NY, it wasn’t surprising this husband and wife (who also is an equestrian) wanted their house to have a “barn feel”. To start, sourced reclaimed wood was used on the walls, floors and ceiling beams. This traditional kitchen, designed by Paulette Gambacorta, features Bilotta Collection cabinetry in a flush flat panel custom green paint with a glaze on maple. An added detail of a “crossbuck” end on the peninsula was custom made from reclaimed wood and inspired by the look of barn doors. Reclaimed wood shelves on iron brackets replaced upper cabinets for easy access. The marble countertops have a hand cut edge detail to resemble the look of when the stone was first quarried. An antique carpenter’s work bench was restored by the builder, for use as an island and extra work station. An apron front sink and a wains panel backsplash completed the barn look and feel. Grande cuisine avec îlot Armony Cucine, agencement en L deux finitions : Une finition Latte Lucido pour les portes façades de l’aménagement linéaire de meubles haut et bas et pour l’îlot central. Une finition Moka 1137 mat pour l’aménagement tout hauteur de meuble colonne. Cette cuisine est spacieuse et fonctionnel par un grand nombre de rangement : Un ensemble linéaire de meuble haut avec porte façade sans poigné, leurs ouverture se fait par un Système de gorge profilé inox. Un ensemble linéaire de meuble bas, accueil un lave-vaisselle intégrable qui vient compléter la zone de nettoyage déjà caractérisé par une cuve sous plan en inox de chez FRANKE auquel a été joint à un mitigeur haut avec douchette en inox. Un îlot de taille confortable caractérise l’une des deux de zones de cuisson de la cuisine. Une table induction multizone de chez NOVY y a été installée, elle commande une hotte plafonnier NOVY, qui est encastré dans un coffrage créé sur mesure. L’îlot comprend également des rangements type : tiroir à couvert, casserolier, tiroir à ustensile de cuisine, coulissant à épice. Coté salon il est aménagé d’une niche ouverte pouvant faire office de petite Bibliothèque, ce qui renforce le design moderne de cette cuisine. Un aménagement tout hauteur de meuble colonne aux portes façades Moka 1137 mat, vient apporter du contracte au sein de la cuisine. Il regroupe les gros électroménagers tel que : un réfrigérateur intégrable et un congélateur intégrable de chez LIEBHERR. Cet aménagement comprend aussi la deuxième zone cuisson de la cuisine, qui est caractérisée par un four multifonction et un combiné four micro-ondes de chez SIEMENS. Une colonne coulissante tout hauteur est placé en bout de cet aménagement tout hauteur.Le plan de travail utilisé dans cette cuisine est un GRANIT BROWN ANTIQUE.
