For this kitchen remodel, we installed the show-stopping Illusion Blue quartzite countertop on the island and used a calmer quartz countertop on the perimeter.

Our client wanted their forever, dream kitchen in Lymington. So they chose Herbert William to design the kitchen of their dreams. The new Lymington Kitchen hosts a busy family, so open plan living was essential. As the heart of the home, a kitchen island allows for multi-functional use. Perfect for grabbing a snack, kids to do homework, or even allowing the cook to stay social when entertaining guests with a meal. The worktops are hard wearing Quartz, easy to clean, perfectly suited to busy family life. Pendant lighting is hung above the kitchen island whilst spotlights are dotted around the ceiling to create different atmospheres at different times of the day. The in-frame painted units with Oak effect cabinets are finished with muted tones so that the Kitchen has a relaxed calming feel. The wall run of tall units hides a large Miele Fridge and Freezer and a glorious chef pantry. They are complimented well by the clients own choice of tiled splashback and the bespoke oak shelves that were created by our installation team. A timeless Shaker style kitchen in Pangbourne, Berkshire, designed for our long standing property developer client, Bentier Homes. The hand painted kitchen was designed and installed by KCA in October 2017. Using Daval's British made furniture in a combination of Cashmere and Truffle tones, Siletone worktops in Yukon and integrated Siemens appliances and Quooker tap. The open plan kitchen diner has been designed to suit modern social family life.

After 17 years living with their original kitchen in their home in Maidstone, our clients decided they wanted to enlarge and completely redesign their kitchen. “We liked our original kitchen cabinets, but the kitchen space was too small and restrictive.” Asking the opinion of friends and family as well as visiting other kitchen showrooms in the Maidstone area, our clients were inspired by Ream’s 8,000 sq. ft. showroom in Gillingham with over 25 kitchen styles. “There is a nice family feel to the showroom, and everyone was helpful with our questions,” says Mrs D. Lara, Ream’s Kitchen Designer, worked on the kitchen layout and design. “Lara is an excellent kitchen designer, she had some really good ideas”, say Mr & Mrs D from Maidstone. “Lara is quick and fantastic at turning her ideas into 3D design. We have no hesitation in recommending Lara for her kitchen designing.” “A local building company carried out the structural work to enlarge the kitchen area and prepare it for the Ream fitting team to come in and install the kitchen,” says Mr D. "he team were friendly and efficient, and we were kept informed and updated by Emma, Ream’s Project Coordinator, the whole time.” “We are very happy with our new kitchen and can still scarcely believe the transformation. The kitchen looks even better in reality than in Lara’s design images and we also have had great feedback from our family and friends”, says Mrs D.

Sur le côté de la fenêtre, le mur vide a été habillé par un mur végétal avec des plantes aromatiques artificielles (les propriétaires n'ont pas du tout la main verte!). Les barres métal sont les mêmes que sur l'autre mur, et les pots, en métal eux aussi, accueillent les plantes. Original, et on sort des traditionnelles étagères qui accueillent habituellement ce genre de plantes.
