On vous présente, un projet de rénovation complète d'une maison sur l'Isle Adam. tout à été refait dans cette habitation de l'électricité et la plomberie, en passant par l'aménagement des différentes pièces; chambres, cuisine, salle de bains, salon, entrée, etc.

ダウンフロアリビングが特徴的な住まいです。 三方が住宅に囲まれた密集地で、道路より敷地が約40㎝高くなっていました。 その敷地の高低差を利用し、リビングの床の高さを低くしています。 通常は、敷地が高い場合、玄関前のポーチ階段により、数段上がって家に入ります。 荻曽根の家では、家の中で徐々に上がるようにしました。 そして、2階の床も少し上げています。 2階の少し床をあげることにより、1階と2階のつながりが生まれ、下記の点のメリットがでています。 ・視線の抜け、広がり感 ・家族間のコミュニケーション ・風の抜け ・採光をとりやすくなる リビングは、南側からの採光を高窓から主に採り入れています。 隣家からのプライバシーも保ちやすいです。 さらに、視線の抜けや広がり感を演出し、1階と2階で家族のコミュニケーションも取りやすくなっています。

In this kitchen, we wanted to tie in the classic black and white palette to the homes character. To do so, the home's original molding details were recreated throughout crown molding and doorways. We incorporated brushed brass and matte black hardware, as well as sand-in-place oak flooring. Our client wanted to continue her tradition of giving her grandchildren weekly gourmet cooking and baking lessons. A paneled refrigerator was designed into the back nook of the kitchen, opening up treasured countertop space for cooking, prepping, and gourmet baked-good preparation. The lowered countertop area create an ideal baking station. To make use of the countertop space, we installed a large 3' galley workstation with dry dock. An elegant gloss black and brass range ties into the classic charm of this 1910's bungalow. The adjacent dining nook is the perfect place for morning coffee and a fresh baked croissant.

This small open plan kitchen was designed for light guest use and in character for this 1880s guest house. With the reproduction stove as a center piece, the cabinetry was designed with a black and white theme in painted distressed oak grained wood. A two drawer refrigerator, microwave, ice maker and dishwasher have been cleverly concealed for the old world look. An adjoining laundry room has a full size refrigerator-freezer and long wall of pantry cabinets for overflow storage.

This project was a gut renovation of a loft on Park Ave. South in Manhattan – it’s the personal residence of Andrew Petronio, partner at KA Design Group. Bilotta Senior Designer, Jeff Eakley, has worked with KA Design for 20 years. When it was time for Andrew to do his own kitchen, working with Jeff was a natural choice to bring it to life. Andrew wanted a modern, industrial, European-inspired aesthetic throughout his NYC loft. The allotted kitchen space wasn’t very big; it had to be designed in such a way that it was compact, yet functional, to allow for both plenty of storage and dining. Having an island look out over the living room would be too heavy in the space; instead they opted for a bar height table and added a second tier of cabinets for extra storage above the walls, accessible from the black-lacquer rolling library ladder. The dark finishes were selected to separate the kitchen from the rest of the vibrant, art-filled living area – a mix of dark textured wood and a contrasting smooth metal, all custom-made in Bilotta Collection Cabinetry. The base cabinets and refrigerator section are a horizontal-grained rift cut white oak with an Ebony stain and a wire-brushed finish. The wall cabinets are the focal point – stainless steel with a dark patina that brings out black and gold hues, picked up again in the blackened, brushed gold decorative hardware from H. Theophile. The countertops by Eastern Stone are a smooth Black Absolute; the backsplash is a black textured limestone from Artistic Tile that mimics the finish of the base cabinets. The far corner is all mirrored, elongating the room. They opted for the all black Bertazzoni range and wood appliance panels for a clean, uninterrupted run of cabinets. Galley Kitchen designed as a piece of furniture as Kitchen is main access point to Familyroom. American Walnut veneer was specifically laid so all panels could be perfectly matched. this was selected to compliment the Sheoak Timber Floor. Gloss metallic & black glass door panels compliment the black glass & stainless sleel features of the appliances. Led strip lights as uplighter, slashback & skirtings give additional light to the room.

The Butler's Pantry was a part of a historic remodel that included a large addition. The butler's pantry became the connection to the new living wing of the home making the visual aesthetic very important. The style needed to be formal and elegant but also warm and inviting. The bow window set at counter height expands the view from the existing dining room and floods the area with light through the new French doors.
