This new build in Battle Ground is the true definition of "modern farmhouse". Yes it's actually a modern house on a farm! The kitchen opens up to the outdoor entertaining area and has a nice open layout. The coffee bar on the side gets lots of use from all of the family members and keeps people out of the cooking area if they need to grab a cup of coffee or tea. Appliances are Miele and Fisher & Paykel. The bar-top is black Fenix.

Washington D.C. - Contemporary - Kitchen Design by #PaulBentham4JenniferGilmer. All the wall cabinets reach almost to the ceiling and are accented with a slim ¾” recessed negative detail to add visual interest while keeping them from overpowering the room. Pairing the smoky woodgrain melamine and high gloss brown/gray PET gave the room a warm yet unmistakably European feel without being too stark and provides easy maintenance. The transformation of this kitchen began by removing the peninsula and upper cabinets to open the space and allow for a multi-functional island. The blue stained glass backsplash is accentuated by a beautiful repeating ivory pattern. The Brief: To create a kitchen that was not only practical but also a room in which to make you smile. Memories of holidays past enter your mind when you are stood in this light and airy space. Different shades of blue along with greys and the odd pop of orange give this kitchen it's 'wow' factor.

Один из реализованных нами проектов – кухня Nobilia Riva. Фасады с фактурой белого бетона и с фактурой дуба San Remo произведены из меламина. Столешница изготовлена из кварца. Использование контрастных фактур позволило структурировать архитектуру кухни: визуально выделена зона с рабочей поверхностью. Чтобы во время готовки все было под рукой, над мойкой и варочной панелью разместили рейлинговые системы хранения. Часть бытовой техники встроили в глухие шкафы. Под телевизором находятся полуколонны со вставками из черного стекла. Дизайнер проекта – Наталья Ильина.

Custom designed hanging glass cabinets frame in this view of the kitchen from the dining room. Centered below the cabinets is the larger of the two kitchen islands, both were constructed with reclaimed barn wood in the herringbone pattern and granite countertops. Each island include a custom-made copper farmhouse sink. The cabinets in the rear of the kitchen are also custom-made and were constructed out of oak, while alder was used for the horizontal slats. The warm tones of the cabinetry inspired the use of wood place settings, and warm metals in the accessories. The open space plan on the main level of the Prairie Style home is deceiving of the actual separation of spaces. This home packs a punch with a private hot tub, craft room, library, and even a theater. The interior of the home features the same attention to place, as the natural world is evident in the use of granite, basalt, walnut, poplar, and natural river rock throughout. Floor to ceiling windows in strategic locations eliminates the sense of compression on the interior, while the overall window design promotes natural daylighting and cross-ventilation in nearly every space of the home. Glo’s A5 Series in double pane was selected for the high performance values and clean, minimal frame profiles. High performance spacers, double pane glass, multiple air seals, and a larger continuous thermal break combine to reduce convection and eliminate condensation, ultimately providing energy efficiency and thermal performance unheard of in traditional aluminum windows. The A5 Series provides smooth operation and long-lasting durability without sacrificing style for this Prairie Style home.
