We love symmetry and this kitchen is no different. The mezzanine level is the utility area with coat storage. The lower lever is for the kitchen unit, with a double larder at the left-hand end which are balanced out by the ovens and a tall integrated fridge in the right-hand end. The hob is centred in the middle with an extractor above and glazed wall cabinet on either side. The cabinet colour is Basalt by Little Greene and the handles are the Cotswold Mushroom Knob and the Cotswold Drawer Pull in polished chrome. Both the worktops and the splashback are Lyra quartz by Silestone.

In this kitchen, we wanted to tie in the classic black and white palette to the homes character. To do so, the home's original molding details were recreated throughout crown molding and doorways. We incorporated brushed brass and matte black hardware, as well as sand-in-place oak flooring. Our client wanted to continue her tradition of giving her grandchildren weekly gourmet cooking and baking lessons. A paneled refrigerator was designed into the back nook of the kitchen, opening up treasured countertop space for cooking, prepping, and gourmet baked-good preparation. The lowered countertop area create an ideal baking station. To make use of the countertop space, we installed a large 3' galley workstation with dry dock. An elegant gloss black and brass range ties into the classic charm of this 1910's bungalow. The adjacent dining nook is the perfect place for morning coffee and a fresh baked croissant.

Kitchen elements are: Light grey/cream cabinetry (Classic Grey- Benjamin Moore), carrara marble countertops (Thin- 2cm), a large window behind the sink (Swing out), floor to ceiling cabinetry with integrated appliances (Fridge and dishwasher), brass hardware (Vintage style with latch feature), and a large range/cooking area.

The kitchen space was maximized and made more efficient by removing a window. The new u-shape better accommodates additional appliances (under counter beverage/wine refrigerator and undercounter microwave). Undercabinet and toe kick lighting illuminate the light, airy space.

A simple but beautifully symmetrical layout for this lovely open plan living extension in Petts Wood. The addition of the large kitchen island provides plenty of additional storage, work surface and seating space. The shaker style kitchen units have been painted in Farrow & Ball Elephant’s Breath and Charleston Grey and finished with stainless steel cup handles and knobs. The colour scheme and Global Apollo quartz stone worktops follow through into the utility room.

The Harris Kitchen uses our slatted cabinet design which draws on contemporary shaker and vernacular country but with a modern rustic feel. This design lends itself beautifully to both freestanding or fitted furniture and can be used to make a wide range of freestanding pieces such as larders, dressers and islands. This Kitchen is made from English Character Oak and custom finished with a translucent sage coloured Hard Wax Oil which we mixed in house, and has the effect of a subtle wash of colour without detracting from the character, tonal variations and warmth of the wood. This is a brilliant hardwearing, natural and breathable finish which is water and stain resistant, food safe and easy to maintain. The slatted cabinet design was originally inspired by old vernacular freestanding kitchen furniture such as larders and meat safes with their simple construction and good airflow which helped store food and provisions in a healthy and safe way, vitally important before refrigeration. These attributes are still valuable today although rarely used in modern cabinetry, and the Slat Cabinet series does this with very narrow gaps between the slats in the doors and cabinet sides. Emily & Greg commissioned this kitchen for their beautiful old thatched cottage in Warwickshire. The kitchen it was replacing was out dated, didn't use the space well and was not fitted sympathetically to the space with its old uneven walls and low beamed ceilings. A carefully considered cupboard and drawer layout ensured we maximised their storage space, increasing it from before, whilst opening out the space and making it feel less cramped. The cabinets are made from Oak veneered birch and poplar core ply with solid oak frames, panels and doors. The main cabinet drawers are dovetailed and feature Pippy/Burr Oak fronts with Sycamore drawer boxes, whilst the two Larders have slatted Oak crate drawers for storage of vegetables and dry goods, along with spice racks shelving and automatic concealed led lights. The wall cabinets and shelves also have a continuous strip of dotless led lighting concealed under the front edge, providing soft light on the worktops.

We brought this kitchen dining space right up to date, by moving the kitchen to a lighter area of the house and designing a completely new kitchen. The cabinets are bespoke, painted in our chosen colours. The handles are hand cast bronze, with ceramic wall lights. By paying close attention to every detail and getting to the heart of how the client wanted to live in the space, we delivered a truly magical room.

Creating the best use of space with integrated washing machine and dishwasher, with a double dresser unit on top and a full height larder unit beside.

Our team recently completed a major renovation project in the Lawrence Park area, focusing on the main floor of the home. The goal of the project was to update and modernize the space, while also improving functionality and increasing the overall value of the property. The main areas of focus included the kitchen, flooring, painting, and trim work. In the kitchen, we completely overhauled the space, installing new appliances, cabinets, and countertops. The layout was also reconfigured to create a more open and functional space for cooking and entertaining. In terms of flooring, we worked with the homeowners to choose a durable and stylish option that would work well with the overall design aesthetic of the home. We ultimately settled on a hardwood option that provided a warm and inviting feel to the space. The painting was also an important part of the renovation, with the homeowners opting for a fresh, modern color palette that would complement the new flooring and kitchen design. We worked closely with them to select the perfect shades and finishes for each room, creating a cohesive and welcoming space. Finally, we updated the trim work throughout the main floor, including baseboards, window and door frames, and crown molding. This helped to tie together all of the design elements and create a polished and sophisticated look throughout the space. Despite the scale of the project, we were able to complete it in just two months, working closely with the homeowners to ensure that their vision was realized. The end result is a stunning and functional space that the homeowners are thrilled with, and one that will provide enjoyment and value for years to come.
