This Regency waterfront apartment is a dramatic foil for this project. The kitchen space is centrally located in the core of the building with a small window looking out onto a lightwell. Organising the workflow with the client during the design process really answered any questions - the clients less is more approach produced an interesting kitchen. The vintage oak doors were recycled from the previous kitchen to lend some balance to the modern handleless furniture. A British client requested an 'unfitted' look. Robinson Interiors was called in to help create a space that appeared built up over time, with vintage elements. For this kitchen reclaimed wood was used along with three distinctly different cabinet finishes (Stained Wood, Ivory, and Vintage Green), multiple hardware styles (Black, Bronze and Pewter) and two different backsplash tiles. We even used some freestanding furniture (A vintage French armoire) to give it that European cottage feel. A fantastic 'SubZero 48' Refrigerator, a British Racing Green Aga stove, the super cool Waterstone faucet with farmhouse sink all hep create a quirky, fun, and eclectic space! We also included a few distinctive architectural elements, like the Oculus Window Seat (part of a bump-out addition at one end of the space) and an awesome bronze compass inlaid into the newly installed hardwood floors. This bronze plaque marks a pivotal crosswalk central to the home's floor plan. Finally, the wonderful purple and green color scheme is super fun and definitely makes this kitchen feel like springtime all year round! Masterful use of Pantone's Color of the year, Ultra Violet, keeps this traditional cottage kitchen feeling fresh and updated.

Featuring an AGA Stove Porcelain Tiles throughout including Kitchen Splash back Premium Plus 40mm edge Stone Benchtops with waterfall ends 2 Pac Kitchen Cupboards with sharkfin pulls and pot drawers throughout

When refurbishing, the goal was clearly defined: plenty of room for the whole family with children, in a beautiful kitchen designed and manufactured locally in Denmark. The owners like to simply contemplate their kitchen from their office space in the corner of the room, or from the couch in the next room. “We love to admire the kitchen and consider it a piece of furniture in and of itself as well as a tool for daily cooking."

This sophisticated kitchen and dining space was created to provide our client with the ultra-modern space of their dreams. Sleek, glossy finishes were carried throughout, while simple, geometric lines accented the open space. Walls were modified and removed to create an open concept layout, while the old flooring was replaced with a modern hardwood.
