This project was part of Channel Nine's 2019 TV program 'Love Shack' where LTKI collaborated with homeowners and renovation specialists Deanne & Darren Jolly. The 'Love Shack' is situated in the beautiful coastal town of Fingal on Victoria's Mornington Peninsula. Dea & Darren transformed a small and dated 3 bedroom 'shack' into a stunning family home with a significant extension and redesign of the whole property. Let's Talk Kitchens & Interiors' Managing Director Rex Hirst was engaged to design and build all of the cabinetry for the project including kitchen, scullery, mudroom, laundry, bathroom vanities, entertainment units, master walk-in-robe and wardrobes. We think the combination of Dea's honed eye for colour and style and Rex's skills in spatial planning and Interior Design have culminated in a truly spectacular family home. The large open space continues the themes set out in the Living and Dining areas with a similar palette of darker surfaces and finishes, chosen to create an effect that is highly evocative of past centuries, linking new and old with a poetic approach. The dark grey concrete floor is a paired with traditional but luxurious Tadelakt Moroccan plaster, chose for its uneven and natural texture as well as beautiful earthy hues. The supporting structure is exposed and painted in a deep red hue to suggest the different functional areas and create a unique interior which is then reflected on the exterior of the extension.

A modern take on a farmhouse kitchen in regional yackandandah area. Green in many shades is especially trending in 2021 and the traditional style cabinets are popular with modern additions

This kitchen is another that has been designed by George from our Horsham showroom and is another that has been installed by our fitting team in the local Horsham area. This kitchen is slightly different to most of our installations as it uses the Trend range which is the trade arm of the British Mereway company. As you would expect with a kitchen closely related to Mereway’s own, this kitchen boasts extreme durability and all the style that is incorporated into luxury Mereway kitchen. The shade used in this kitchen is the immensely popular Sage Green which is used in the five-piece woodgrain shaker door. The combination of a shaker door and a pale green shade is an extremely popular choice at the moment as it helps to create a light ambience in the kitchen area. The five-piece woodgrain shaker used here features a deep grained finish adding texture to the kitchen. The reason this door is named ‘five-piece’ is because the five components used to create the door are used in such a way that it helps to allow natural movement of the material. Manufacturing in this way ensures the durability of the door for many years to come. Trend carries all the quality and manufacturing experience of the Mereway name at a slightly more affordable price. This kitchen for example is from the Trend’s second price group but still has enviable quality. Alongside the kitchen installation we have also installed Trend furniture into the utility room where this customer has used their own existing appliances.

The four colours in the kitchen work wonderfully well together; the warmth of the wood panelling and the quirky purple splashback work with the Sand Grey and Grey cabinetry seamlessly.

Один из реализованных нами проектов – кухня Häcker Bristol. Рамочные фасады произведены из массива ясеня и сверху покрыты матовым лаком цвета бархатный синий. Верхний ряд шкафов визуально облегчен за счет стеклянных вставок. Столешница изготовлена из ламината в контрастном оттенке Саленто серо-бежевый. Чтобы избежать лишних акцентов, мойку и смеситель подобрали в тон рабочей поверхности. Вся бытовая техника, за исключением духового шкафа, встроена в шкафы с глухими фасадами. Для удобства пользования рабочей поверхностью в нижние панели навесные шкафов встроены LED-светильники. Данная модель спроектирована для помещения, объединившего в себе несколько функциональных зон: столовую, гостиную и кухню. Дизайнер проекта – Ольга Тищенко.
