This property is located in the beautiful California redwoods and yet just a few miles from the beach. We wanted to create a beachy feel for this kitchen, but also a natural woodsy vibe. Mixing materials did the trick. Walnut lower cabinets were balanced with pale blue/gray uppers. The glass and stone backsplash creates movement and fun. The counters are the show stopper in a quartzite with a "wave" design throughout in all of the colors with a bit of sparkle. We love the faux slate floor in varying sized tiles, which is very "sand and beach" friendly. We went with black stainless appliances and matte black cabinet hardware. The entry to the house is in this kitchen and opens to a closet. We replaced the old bifold doors with beautiful solid wood bypass barn doors. Inside one half became a cute coat closet and the other side storage. The old design had the cabinets not reaching the ceiling and the space chopped in half by a peninsula. We opened the room up and took the cabinets to the ceiling. Integrating floating shelves in two parts of the room and glass upper keeps the space from feeling closed in. The round table breaks up the rectangular shape of the room allowing more flow. The whicker chairs and drift wood table top add to the beachy vibe. The accessories bring it all together with shades of blues and cream. This kitchen now feels bigger, has excellent storage and function, and matches the style of the home and its owners. We were tasked with turning a dated Rosemary Beach townhome into a welcoming vacation oasis for use as an AirBnb. We opened the floor plan by removing walls, adding two ensuite bedrooms, creating a larger kitchen and improving the the overall functionality. In the kitchen. we added custom walnut cabinetry, fireclay tile backsplash and new flooring. For the exterior, we replaced the vinyl siding and added four decks. This was a true labor of love, as we did everything from design and construction to furnishing.

STRATFORD KITCHEN A mid-century inspired kitchen, designed for a mid-century house. We love mid-century style, and so when we were approached to design this kitchen for a beautifully revived mid-century villa in Warwickshire, it was a dream commission. Simple, clean cabinetry was brought to life with the gorgeous iroko timber, and the cabinetry sat on a matt black plinth – a classic mid-century detail. A walk-in pantry, lined in single-depth shelving, was framed behind sliding doors glazed with traditional reeded glass. Refrigeration and storage was contained in a long run of tall cabinets, that finished in a mirror-backed bar with integral ice bucket But the show-stealer was a set of bespoke, handmade shelves that screened the kitchen from the hallway in this open plan home. Subtly detailed, like only real furniture-makers can, with traditional jointing and mid-century radiused edges.

The modern u-shaped kitchen features a stunning centre-piece island and houses both traditional and modern cooking appliances beautifully. The mix of high specification Silver Oak and Satin Taupe doors are perfectly complimented with 20mm double bevel edge quartz surfaces.

Opening up a once scarcely used dining room and kitchen to create a fabulous breakfasting kitchen and dining area with enough space for casual seating, with the addition of a butlers pantry, maximising space for storage, which provides a clutter free kitchen. the mix of paint colours, brushed bronze handles, and Calacatta stone work superbly with the Karndean dusk oak flooring to creating a warm welcoming space, ideal for entertaining friends!
