This contemporary, family friendly space is open plan including a dining area, and lounge with wood burning stove. The footprint is compact, however this kitchen boasts lots of storage within the tall cabinets, and also a very efficiently used island. The homeowner opted for a matte cashmere door, and a feature reclaimed oak door. The concrete effect worktop is actually a high-quality laminate that adds depth to the otherwise simple design. A double larder houses not only the ambient food, but also items that typically sit out on worktops such as the kettle and toaster. It contains no harmful chemicals and do not emit harmful radiation or gasses. Granite is heat resistant and is one of the most heat-resistant countertops on the market. You can place a hot pan out of the oven directly onto the countertop surface. Experts do recommend the use of a trivet when using appliances that emit heat for long periods of time, such as crockpots. Since the material is so dense, there is a small possibility heating one area of the top and not the entire thing, could cause the countertop to crack. Granite is scratch resistant. You can cut on it, but it will dull your knives! Granite scores a seven on Moh’s hardness scale. Granite countertops are considered to be a low maintenance countertop surface. The likelihood of needing to be repaired or resurfaced is low. Granite is a porous material. Most fabricators will apply a sealer to granite countertops before they are installed which will protect them from absorbing liquids too quickly. Many sealers last more than 10 years before needing to be reapplied. When they do need to be reapplied, it is something that most homeowners can do on their own as the process is similar to cleaning. Darker granites are very dense and sometimes don’t even require a sealer. When it comes to pricing, there are a lot of variables such as edge profile, total square footage, backsplash, etc. Don’t be fooled by the stereotype that all granite is expensive. Lower-range granites will cost less than high-range laminate. Though granite countertops are not considered “low range” in pricing, there are a lot of affordable options. If you are looking for something truly unique, consider an exotic granite. Some quarries are not easily accessible and/or only able to be quarried for short periods of time throughout the year. If these circumstances exist in a quarry with gorgeous stone, the price will be driven upward. You won’t find a lot of solid patterns or bright colors, but both do exist. Also, watch for a large range of color and pattern within the same color of stone. It’s always a good idea to view the exact slab(s) that will be fabricated for your kitchen to make sure they are what you expected to see from the sample. Another factor is that many exotic types of granite have huge flowing waves, and a small sample will not be an accurate representation of the whole slab. Granite countertops are very resistant to chemicals. Acids and bases will not harm the material.

Last year we were asked to help design and install a kitchen in one of the local villages. The only problem was...there were 3 walls in the way! We knew we could help with an entire room transformation and open-up. Helping the customer to visualise the room was really important. Would they get enough cupboards? Was there space for the island? Would the ratio of kitchen space to the rest of the room be right? The design process really helped them to see what was possible. They had a good idea on the style of kitchen – our Furore handleless range from Crown Imperial really ticked the box for them – and coupled with the lovely Ice Crystal worktops from Minerva and Samsung appliances we really got everything on the wish list in to the room. Stacking the Dual Flex Oven, Combi microwave and warming drawer in one larder unit freed up enough room to include the Crown Spacetower which offers storage galore. We love the sleek pan drawers and the wine fridge on the island too. The microwave has been taken away from the counter and the Franke 4 in 1 boiling water tap also helps to keep the worktops clear of clutter. And the flip socket on the island allows the customer to use the large worktop both for cooking creation and working space! We also revamped the utility room as part of the project. A cheeky little divide in the larder unit allowing storage for the ironing board but shelves elsewhere to keep that beautiful open plan kitchen sleek and tidy. Stunning!

Nous avons rénové cet appartement à Pantin pour un homme célibataire. Toutes les tendances fortes de l'année sont présentes dans ce projet : une chambre bleue avec verrière industrielle, une salle de bain black & white à carrelage blanc et robinetterie chromée noire et une cuisine élégante aux teintes vertes.

Cuisine linéaire conçue sur mesure par My Fair Design et commandée chez IKEA. Conception et travail soignés sur la crédence et le carrelage du sol (découpe minutieuse). Cuisine ouverte sur salon, contemporaine et conviviale.

La beauté du bleu qui donne du caractère à cette réalisation. Le choix du sol est également là pour déposer un tapis à cet ensemble qui du coup reste très chalereux !

Беседка–барбекю 60 м2. Беседка барбекю проектировалась на имеющемся бетонном прямоугольном основании. Желанием заказчика было наличие массивного очага и разделочных поверхностей для максимально комфортной готовки, обеденного стола на 12 человек и мест для хранения посуды и инвентаря. Все элементы интерьера беседки выполнены по индивидуальному проекту. Особенно эффектна кухня, выполненная из чугуна с отделкой термодеревом. Мангал, размером 1.2*0.6 м , также индивидуален не только по дизайну, но и по функциям ( подъёмная чаша с углем, система поддува и пр.). Мебель и стол выполнены из термолиственницы. На полу плитка из натурального сланца. Позднее было принято решение закрыть внешние стены беседки прозрачными подъёмными панелями, что позволяет использовать её в любую погоду. Благодаря применению природных материалов, беседка очень органично вписалась в окружающий пейзаж.
