A beautiful open concept with traditional scale and detailing gives the home historic character and charm. Transom lites, perfectly sized windows, a central foyer with open stair and wide plank heart pine flooring all help to add to the nostalgic feel of this young home. White walls, shiplap details, quartz counters, shaker cabinets, simple trim designs, an abundance of natural light and carefully designed artificial lighting make modest spaces feel large and lend to the homeowner's delight in their new custom home. Nestled in the heart of Cowes on the Isle of Wight, this gorgeous Hampton's style cottage proves that good things, do indeed, come in 'small packages'! Small spaces packed with BIG designs and even larger solutions, this cottage may be small, but it's certainly mighty, ensuring that storage is not forgotten about, alongside practical amenities.

By incorporating smaller appliances and custom-built pieces, the space feels larger, everything fits and the newly imagined spaces feel airy and light. We installed a Lacanche Cormatin and accented the black of the range with a slab of absolutely stunning Statuario marble with dramatic gray and black veining. Well, not this one! When I purchased this floating home from my aunt and uncle, I undertook a huge out-of-state remodel. Up for the challenge, I grabbed my water wings, sketchpad, & measuring tape. It was sink or swim for Patricia Lockwood to finish before the end of 2014. The big reveal for the finished houseboat on Sauvie Island will be in the summer of 2015 - so stay tuned.

We collaborated closely with our client’s interior designer to create this alluring space. What really stands out is the homely yet sophisticated atmosphere we managed to achieve. Our exclusive inset handles in Satin Nickel paired with Little Greene’s Lead Grey bring a cool, clean edge to the cabinetry. Large skylights and Crittall doors allow natural light to permeate the room, adding to the fresh and airy ambiance.

Step into the world of modern elegance with this contemporary open-plan kitchen. The sleek veneer doors effortlessly blend with shaker-style wall cabinet doors, creating a harmonious contrast that defines the heart of this home. What truly sets this kitchen apart is its unique island design, featuring captivating repetitive arches that beckon you toward the inviting living room. These mesmerizing arches aren't just limited to the island; they are skillfully repeated in the wall cabinets, weaving a sense of continuity and artistry throughout the space.

We love transformation projects and this kitchen exudes the real wow factor! The footprint has changed form the outdated angular bench format from this 90's style home. An exceptional modern coastal style kitchen has emerged from the design process, with a well thought out plan, including a great range of appliances and highly functional storage solutions with effective use of the space.

The U shape of this kitchen provides plenty of space or moving around the kitchen. Great for a busy cook or when entertaining. It also gives plenty of worksurface space and enables to make use the space as a breakfast bar area.

This beautiful custom crafted kitchen was designed for Irish jockey Barry Geraghty and his wife Paula. The bespoke solid poplar cabinetry has been handpainted in Farrow & Ball Strong White with Colourtrend Smoke Brush as a light and airy accent tone on the island. The kitchen features luxury driftwood oak internals, with the luxe theme continuing to the Calacatta marble picture-frame effect splashback and Silestone Yukon work surfaces. Appliances include an Aga range cooker a with Neff ovens for added versatility. The theme has been continued with custom cabinetry crafted for the living area and bathroom.

The kitchen in this 1920's home was gutted and redesigned to include an island. Architectural changes I proposed were a new, larger window over the relocated sink and the relocation of the access to the basement. The L-shaped kitchen now has more storage and longer surfaces. There was just adequate room for the contrasting green island with seating on the end portion. Craftsman and Industrial elements add unique touches to the space. Simple white Shaker cabinetry allow the drama of the black quartz top, black appliances and forest green subway tile to take center-stage! Luckily, the original wood floors were patched and usable. New light fixtures and floor cloth add to the period details that make this kitchen a winner!
