Die Kücheninsel ist freistehend und alle Arbeitsplatten sind aus Vollholz. So beginnt eine Landhausküche. Dass es aber dann mit Lindgrünen glatten Schrankflächen weitergeht zeigt, dass man "Landhaus" durchaus modern gestalten kann.

Kitchen remodel, apartment renovation, 35 m2 | Berlin | Friedrichshain | 2020 Scope of work: Conception Planning, Furniture Design, Budgeting, Detailed Planning, Sourcing, Contractors Evaluation, Site Supervision ulia and Mathieu are a couple who have lived in Berlin-Friedrichshain for several years. Although they loved their apartment, they were never satisfied with their kitchen and dining area. Although the space was large, it felt cramped. There were many doorways and it was difficult to make it functional. Plus, there just wasn't enough counter space, and it was difficult to find enough room for all of their kitchen utensils. Julia and Mathieu are two wonderful people who radiated warmth and welcome but the gloomy kitchen did not do justice to their personalities. That is why they reached out to me, hoping that an architect would help them better plan their apartment remodel.

This total renovation of this fabulous large country home meant the whole house was taken back to the external walls and roof rafters and all suspended floors dug up. All new Interior layout and two large extensions. 2 months of gutting the property before any building works commenced. This part of the house was in fact an old ballroom and one of the new extensions formed a beautiful new entrance hallway with stunning helical staircase. Our own design handmade and hand painted kitchen with Miele appliances. Painted in a gorgeous soft grey and with a fabulous 3.5 x 1 metre solid wood dovetailed breakfast bar and surround with led lighting. Stunning stone effect large format porcelain tiles which were for the majority of the ground floor, all with under floor heating. Skyframe openings on the ground and first floor giving uninterrupted views of the glorious open countryside. Lutron lighting throughout the whole of the property and Crestron Home Automation. A glass firebox fire was built into this room. for clients ease, giving a secondary heat source, but more for visual effect. 4KTV with plastered in the wall speakers, the wall to the left and right of the TV is only temporary as this will soon be glass entrances and pocket doors with views to the large swimming pool extension with sliding Skyframe opening system. Phase 1 of this 4 phase project with more images to come. The next phase is for the large Swimming Pool Extension, new Garage and Stable Building and sweeping driveway. When they briefed us on this two-storey 85 m2 extension to their beautifully-proportioned Regency villa, our clients envisioned a clean, modern take on its traditional, heritage framework with an open, light-filled lounge/dining/kitchen plan topped by a new master bedroom. Simply opening the front door of the Edwardian-style façade unveils a dramatic surprise: a traditional hallway freshened up by a little lick of paint leading to a sumptuous lounge and dining area enveloped in crisp white walls and floor-to-ceiling glazing that spans the rear and side façades and looks out to the sumptuous garden, its century-old weeping willow and oh-so-pretty Virginia Creepers. The result is an eclectic mix of old and new. All in all a vibrant home full of the owners personalities. Come on in!

Two tone kitchens are a great way to enhance the space you have and lets you be creative. The Fjord green is a beautiful colour that brings a fresh, airy feel to the kitchen, whilst the wooden grain of the island is warm and comforting. This combination is like bringing the outdoors in! Along the wall we used a compact laminate worktop. A great worktop that is 100% water proof and super easy to install. Being a compact laminate, it allows undermounted sinks to be installed. The bank of tall units are impressive with the Neff appliances. The ovens and combi oven are at the perfect height and are in a great position opposite the island. Under the combi oven in the middle is the warming drawer. Great for keeping plates warm and also keeps the symmetry of the design.

Open plan kitchen and living room with banquet seating dining area overlooking a central courtyard. The kitchen combines sand-coloured wall-mounted cabinets and open shelves to keep the space light and airy. The dark graphite base cabinet allows the sleek black glass oven and induction hob to fake from vision. Engineered wood is laid in wide planks to widen the galley kitchen. The fridge/freezer and dishwasher are integrated while a separate utility closet was designed to house the washer/dryer.

L’objectif premier pour cet espace de travail est d’optimiser au maximum chaque mètre carré et créer un univers à l’image de notre cliente. Véritable espace de vie celui-ci accueille de multiples fonctions : un espace travail, une cuisine, des alcoves pour se détendre, une bibliothèque de rangement et décoration notamment. Dans l’entrée, le mur miroir agrandit l’espace et accentue la luminosité ambiante. Coté bureaux, l’intégralité du mur devient un espace de rangement. La bibliothèque que nous avons dessinée sur-mesure permet de gagner de la place et vient s’adapter à l’espace disponible en proposant des rangements dissimulés, une penderie et une zone d’étagères ouverte pour la touche décorative. Afin de délimiter l’espace, le choix d’une cloison claustra est une solution simple et efficace pour souligner la superficie disponible tout en laissant passer la lumière naturelle. Elle permet une douce transition entre l’entrée, les bureaux et la cuisine. Associer la couleur « verte » à un matériau naturel comme le bois crée une ambiance 100% relaxante et agréable. Les détails géométriques et abstraits, que l’on retrouve au sol mais également sur les tableaux apportent à l’intérieur une note très chic. Ce motif s’associe parfaitement au mobilier et permet de créer un relief dans la pièce. L’utilisation de matières naturelles est privilégiée et donne du caractère à la décoration. Le raphia que l’on retrouve dans les suspensions ou le rotin pour les chaises dégage une atmosphère authentique, chaleureuse et détendue.
