HouseHomeBuilt in 1896, the original site of the Baldwin Piano warehouse was transformed into several turn-of-the-century residential spaces in the heart of Downtown Denver. The building is the last remaining structure in Downtown Denver with a cast-iron facade. HouseHome was invited to take on a poorly designed loft and transform it into a luxury Airbnb rental. Since this building has such a dense history, it was our mission to bring the focus back onto the unique features, such as the original brick, large windows, and unique architecture.
Our client wanted the space to be transformed into a luxury, unique Airbnb for world travelers and tourists hoping to experience the history and art of the Denver scene. We went with a modern, clean-lined design with warm brick, moody black tones, and pops of green and white, all tied together with metal accents. The high-contrast black ceiling is the wow factor in this design, pushing the envelope to create a completely unique space. Other added elements in this loft are the modern, high-gloss kitchen cabinetry, the concrete tile backsplash, and the unique multi-use space in the Living Room. Truly a dream rental that perfectly encapsulates the trendy, historical personality of the Denver area.

Frank & FaberThe bespoke kitchen is designed to have an integrated shelf for cookbooks next to the oven. The simple kitchen and concrete splashback highlight the industrial nature of the space. The orange Jielde wall light gives a pop of colour.

Sébastien Guyon - Architecte d'intérieurL'espace séjour, cuisine a été repensé. Afin d'ouvrir les espaces et apporter plus de modernité et de lumière aux espaces, des cloisons ont été supprimées. Une nouvelle fenêtre à été installé dans la cuisine ainsi qu'une verrière dans l'espace entrée.
Tiffany FayolleCette cuisine a été aménagée pour répondre à un maximum de besoin dans un espace réduit. L’équipement est prévu pour de la location de courte durée ce qui permet de réduire considérablement le rangement afin de le mettre à profit dans la salle de bains (rangements recto/verso) et d’intégrer un espace repas qui évite ainsi d’ajouter un espace salle à manger dans cet appartement de passage professionnel. Un grand escalier a été créé avec pour garde-corps de longs câbles métalliques tendus jusqu’au plafond. Le parquet massif a été poncé et vitrifié pour obtenir un parquet en pointe de Hongrie comme neuf dans un ton miel.

Frank & FaberThe bespoke kitchen was designed in a simple contemporary style to highlight the industrial nature of the property. Shallow cupboards sit underneath the windows with a central island creating an open plan and social kitchen. Industrial lighting gives a pop of colour.
