It has been dubbed the "Scullery Area" and is part Butler's Pantry/Part Wet Par/Part Coffee station. It provides a second sink and dishwasher for clean up after larger family events and the pocket doors and lift doors provide storage at counter level and a way to hide the various countertop appliances that are necessary but not always the most glamorous. The coffee and tea station holds everything you need with easy access to the family room and refrigerator. It promotes a welcoming help yourself as well as self-sufficiency among family, friends and guests.

One of our favorite 2016 projects, this standard builder grade home got a truly custom look after bringing in our design team to help with original built-in designs for the bar and media cabinet. Changing up the standard light fixtures made a big POP and of course all the finishing details in the rugs, window treatments, artwork, furniture and accessories made this house feel like Home. Our clients are a family with three young kids. They wanted to open up and expand their kitchen so their kids could have space to move around, and it gave our clients the opportunity to keep a close eye on the children during meal preparation and remain involved in their activities. By relocating their laundry room, removing some interior walls, and moving their downstairs bathroom we were able to create a beautiful open space. The LaCantina doors and back patio we installed really open up the space even more and allow for wonderful indoor-outdoor living. Keeping the historic feel of the house was important, so we brought the house into the modern era while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship to preserve the historic ambiance. The bar area with soapstone counters with the warm wood tone of the cabinets and glass on the cabinet doors looks exquisite.

Luxe modern interior design in Westwood, Kansas by ULAH Interiors + Design, Kansas City. This dark and moody kitchen features both Dekton and Silestone by Cosentino. We carried the same Dekton from the island design onto the wet bar and the bar backsplash. The wet bar has matte black cabinets with panel ready appliances and an under-mounted bar sink. The bar shelves are made of real brass posts with glass shelves.
