This Beautiful 5,931 sqft home renovation was completely transformed from a small farm bungalow. This house is situated on a ten-acre property with extensive farmland views with bright open spaces. Custom beam work was done on site to add the “rustic” element to many of the rooms, most specifically the bar area. Custom, site-built shelving and lockers were added throughout the house to accommodate the homeowner’s specific needs. Space saving barn doors add style and purpose to the walk-in closets in the ensuite, which includes walk-in shower, private toilet room, and free standing jet tub; things that were previously lacking. A “great room” was created on the main floor, utilizing the previously unusable living area, creating a space on the main floor big enough for the family to gather, and take full advantage of the beautiful scenery of the acreage.

This 1990's family home received a complete kitchen, and family room remodel. We designed a custom kitchen, furnished the main living areas, and updated finishes throughout, including designing a new fireplace, replacing all of the floors, paint, wallpaper, and lighting. Our client in Point Loma loves to entertain and they invited us to remodel and refresh their home to create a space with multiple seating areas that encourage conversation and a better flow. CairnsCraft Design & Remodel opened up the kitchen area by removing the fireplace and the wall that separated the Kitchen and Family Room. The owners chose a rich stain with beveled shaker style cabinets, punctuated by a lighter quartz countertop and a very elegant stone backsplash tile. Our clients are wine lovers, so we redesigned an existing closet into a bar. We added a wine cooler, lots of storage and upper cabinets with LED lights and seedy-glass doors to display all the sparkling glassware! ​We replaced a sliding door with a wide La Cantina folding glass door, connecting the interior spaces with outdoor areas and bring a lot of natural light in.​ ​We are proud to have earned the trust ​of this family, and that they are truly happy with their fresh remodel home!
