This custom bar features all of the amenities of a commercial bar. The back wall includes two TVs, ample shelf space, multiple coolers, and a large window to view the pool area. The large windows fold open to allow access to the bar from the outside, bringing the outdoors - inside. Accent lighting make this an entertainment "hotspot".

AFTER: BAR | We completely redesigned the bar structure by opening it up. It was previously closed on one side so we wanted to be able to walk through to the living room. We created a floor to ceiling split vase accent wall behind the bar to give the room some texture and break up the white walls. We juxtaposed bold colors and contemporary furnishings with the early twentieth-century interior architecture for this four-level Pacific Heights Edwardian. The home's showpiece is the living room, where the walls received a rich coat of blackened teal blue paint with a high gloss finish, while the high ceiling is painted off-white with violet undertones. Against this dramatic backdrop, we placed a streamlined sofa upholstered in an opulent navy velour and companioned it with a pair of modern lounge chairs covered in raspberry mohair. An artisanal wool and silk rug in indigo, wine, and smoke ties the space together.

The Butler's pantry off the kitchen echoes the grey from the kitchen island. We gave it more drama by adding a hammered metal sink and a gorgeous glass mosaic tile.

This custom bar features all of the amenities of a commercial bar. From behind the bar, you have a clear view of the home theater and golf simulator. You will never feel left out of the fun. An ice maker and dishwasher, and accent lighting make this an entertainment "hotspot".
