This bold blue wet bar remodel in San Juan Capistrano features floating shelves and a beverage center tucked under the countertop with cabinet storage.

This wetbar is part of a very open family room Reclaimed brick veneer is used as the backsplash. The floating shelves have LED light strips routered in and antique mirrors enhance the rustic look.

Designed this dry bar and chose all materials and installed everything. Even chose the furnishings for this.

This was a whole home renovation where nothing was left untouched. We took out a few walls to create a gorgeous great room, custom designed millwork throughout, selected all new materials, finishes in all areas of the home. We also custom designed a few furniture pieces and procured all new furnishings, artwork, drapery and decor.

As as avid wine lover, a dry bar close to the dining room was a necessity. Previously a wet bar (that was completely enclosed and never used) we tore down walls and brought in cabinetry to match the kitchen to create a grand space. The idea was to create a beverage-centric space. Located right by the newly extended kitchen and no longer separated by a wall, this space acts as if it is part of the kitchen but is also a stand-alone place for enjoying morning coffee and evening drinks. To work, the space needed more than a bar cart or a converted buffet against the wall. Samantha designed a gorgeous beverage-specific station with counterspace and storage that is functional and classy. A coffee maker and a few ready-to-pour bottles can be out in the open while stemware, special bottles and mixology elements can be out of the way. In addition to being a great energy-up and wind-down space on either side of a typical day, the area comes in handy as a spacious drink-prep place while entertaining.

Modern wet bar featuring clean-lined slab doors and quartz counter tops to flow with the adjacent kitchen and stacked stone wall feature to flow with the adjacent living space.
